I wonder what Sully is really asking here? Does he believe that the pigmentation of someone's skin means they can't stand in the pocket and throw a football or is he saying something else between the lines?

And to answer Sully's "prove it" statement you just have to say two words: Warren Moon. This debate was ended roughly 3 decades ago Sully...

I'm sure our own starting black, mobile QB is quite impressed and can't wait for more Sully next season. Hopefully TT throws a laser TD from the pocket, and in his post game presser asks Sully for his thoughts. And then forces him to elaborate.

Why would Sully care if Tyrod is "impressed?"

So why can't we get this guy fired? Everyone hates him. He's been a joke for years. If I sucked at my job for that long I would have been fired

A lot of people on this thread are calling for Jerry to be fired. It will never happen because of their union. They had one of the writers get caught plagiarizing and he stayed employed after a suspension.

They were playing back tapes of it on Mike and Mike, and laughing about him. I'll bet this will be making all the talk shows. There's an article on MSN sports about it too, doesn't name Sully but talks about "A reporter"

He is NOT a reporter, he is a columnist like Ann Landers and such. There is a difference.

Better than him getting fired would be for every member of the Bills organization to answer "That's your issue" to every question he asks all year long.

Did Mike and Mike play back this and laugh at it as well?:

"Newton is blackety-black and the simple reality is that the country doesn't like black people very much".

I doubt they did because that is their pal Bomani Jones pushing stereotypes just like poor Sully.

ESPN is the organization really pushing this "Cam is polarizing figure" when, really, he's not. A few weeks ago some lady wrote a letter to the editor in a newspaper criticizing him and it went all over the place. Now it seems they are really straining to keep that story line going. It's just phoney controversy. Newton was far more polarizing as a college player (perhaps the most corrupt we have ever heard of), whereas now, he is pretty benign.

This is the typical media creation. Sully is just playing the part someone wants him too--and he is happy to oblige. No one really cares. Why should we?
