EmotionallyUnstable Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 As he should. Go out on top and eat as many papa johns pizzas as possible.
3rdand12 Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 He will win the big dance how cool would that be. Say he is retiring and go out winning. Be a legendary story for the ages. and a feel good one too. i wouldn't mind it one bit
Captain_Quint Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 So who's gonna play in the Super Bowl??? The timing doesnt make sense.
YoloinOhio Posted February 2, 2016 Author Posted February 2, 2016 So who's gonna play in the Super Bowl??? The timing doesnt make sense.actually it does if he really wants to go out on a high note Fire up the Brock Star. Panthers would never expect it.
BringBackFergy Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 So who's gonna play in the Super Bowl??? Three words: Tim Tebow
Talley56 Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Perhaps taking a lesson from Ray Lewis announcing he's retiring to inspire his teamates to win it all.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 @profootballtalk Report: Peyton Manning has told close friends he'll retire I guess at least one of those friends was less close than he thought
YoloinOhio Posted February 2, 2016 Author Posted February 2, 2016 (edited) @corryjoel John Elway can't give Peyton Manning all the time he needs to a make a decision. His $19M 2016 salary is fully GTD (no offset) on March 9. Edited February 2, 2016 by YoloinOhio
Blokestradamus Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 I really hope he does something in a coaching capacity at some point. He'd be great working with Trent Dilfer on the Elite 11 stuff. This past year has been cringeworthy watching him play but he's earned the right to go out on his terms.
Captain Hindsight Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Since Florio reported it, he will likely play the next 4 years
machine gun kelly Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Peyton has been such a role model for my oldest son, he was nicknamed after him growing up. I really hope for his sake he tells his teammates the night before at their meeting and provides motivation for the team. Afterwards watching him hoist the trophy and publicly announce after the game would be one for all time. I have nothing against Cam, and believe he will be there again. That team is fantastic and probably will be the favorite in Vegas. Most importantly i want an exciting game where it is tight with every score. Whoever wins i hope it's by less than 3.
