3rdnlng
The United Kingdom is giving school children a diverse array of 25 options when it comes to identifying themselves on a government-sponsored gender survey, which includes “tri-gender,” “genderqueer,” and “in the middle of boy and girl.” The survey given to 13- to 18-year-old teens in Brighton, U.K., was produced by the government-sponsored Children’s Commissioner for England. It is described by many as being bizarre and misleading, at best. Teens were prompted to check “as many as they wanted” on the questionnaire, which included “demi-boy,” “agender,” and “gender fluid” alongside the traditional options of “boy,” “girl,” “male” and “female.” The U.K.-based Christian Institute argues that it is “totally misleading” for the government to give the new controversial terms equal weight to the traditional http://www.gopusa.com/teen-students-in-uk-given-25-gender-options/

Azalin
A good friend of mine is a cross-dresser. He's shown me his drivers license, so I know his real name and true appearance, but I've never seen him in real life as anything other than his female alter-ego. It took me a while before I was able to feel truly comfortable around him, but over the years he's proven to be one of the most level-headed and kind people I know. One time he came over for chicken wing night, and after the other guests left, I had the opportunity to ask him all the whys and hows of came to be Erin (he's an ex-marine, former motocross racer, and PGA caddy), especially since he's straight. He's smart about it - he doesn't have an agenda, he isn't bitter, he's never confrontational, he only goes where people are comfortable with him (he spends a lot of time on detail in presenting himself as female, but he's not fooling anyone and he knows it), and he's as annoyed with all the militant proponents of these new sub-genders as anyone. I recently discussed all the new gender variations that are popping up in western cultures with him, and his insight was refreshing and even made me laugh. He said (paraphrased) "while I understand what it's like to know inside that I'm something other than how I was born, I'm still just a dude that dresses like a woman, and that's how I expect to be treated". I can't help but have total respect for that.

Azalin
Which public bathroom does he use? As far as I know, he uses the womens' room, but I'm not certain about that. He's never had a problem that I know of.
