Not a great offensive draft.

Agree. In my, less than scientific, grading system I have 25 what I would class as "genuine" 1st round grades and only 9 of them are on offense.

Roger Lewis is going to be a steal for someone, talent wise. Of course, he may also be a criminal.

Updated Fanspeak Rankings.. Don't like that I didnt take any OL but I would still be pleased with this draft.

On a side note, it seems like similar players are popping up on everyone's draft. (Su'a Cravens, Antonio Morrison in the later rounds along with DJ reader.. Vernon Butler)

Composite big board; ignoring guys I feel had little-to-no chance to be there...

YOUR PICKS
1: R1P19
DE NOAH SPENCE
EASTERN KENTUCKY
Explosive, natural pass-rusher to play the edge and eventually take over for Lawson at the Sam
2: R2P18
DT CHRIS JONES
MISS. STATE
Stout down-lineman that can play anywhere along a 3-man front; versatile enough to play in a single or 2-gap scheme. He's a dominant force when motivated to play.
3: R3P17
ILB DOMINIQUE ALEXANDER
OKLAHOMA
Athletic LB to play the Will next to Preston Brown
4: R4P19
OT KYLE MURPHY
STANFORD
Very athletic tackle with experience on both sides; plays with excellent leverage in the run game. Has starting potential.
5: R4P41
S JUSTIN SIMMONS
BOSTON COLLEGE
Aggressive center-field safety with ball skills, prototype size, and adequate speed.
6: R5P17
WR KEYARRIS GARRETT
TULSA
Big-bodied, physical target with a knack for the spectacular catch; his 1.63 10-yard split was the best of any WR over 6'2" at the combine.
7: R6P17
QB BRANDON DOUGHTY
WESTERN KENTUCKY
Developmental QB with quick release and decision-making.
8: R6P43
DT VINCENT VALENTINE
NEBRASKA
True 0-tech NT that needs a coach like Rex to bring the best out of him.

Here's mine for today. I used FirstPick.com Made a trade with Washington in the 1st round and picked up an extra 2nd and 3rd. They grade each pick on this site and give point values to your picks. I finished first of all the 32 teams by about 800 points. Would be thrilled with this draft.

Round 1 Pick 21 (WASH): Reggie Ragland, ILB, Alabama (A+)
Round 2 Pick 18: Kenny Clark, DT, UCLA (A)
Round 3 Pick 17: Will Fuller, WR, Notre Dame (A+)
Round 3 Pick 21 (WASH): Kyler Fackrell, OLB/DE, Utah State (A)
Round 4 Pick 19: Maliek Collins, DT, Nebraska (A+)
Round 4 Pick 22 (WASH): Nick Vigil, ILB, Utah State (A)
Round 4 Pick 41 (COMP): Aaron Burbridge, WR, Michigan State (A+)
Round 5 Pick 17: Paul Perkins, RB, UCLA (A+)
Round 6 Pick 17: James Cowser, DE/OLB, Southern Utah (A)
Round 6 Pick 43 (COMP): Kevin Hogan, QB, Stanford (B+)

I have seen a few now that have Artie Burns still there in the 4th or 5th.... there is absolutely no chance. I have a high 2nd round grade on him, I'd not be surprised if he went late in the first and I'd be shocked if he still there by the time the 3rd round starts.

They're mock drafts....for the purpose of sheer folly and entertainment until the real draft rolls around. There's not a chance in hell that half the guys in my last draft will be there. So what? It's interesting to see what is available when you pick and how it changes based upon the board selected. None of the so called "experts" come close to getting even the 1st Round correct. Enjoy it or ignore it. No biggie either way.
