EmotionallyUnstable Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 At the right price, come on over.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 yes, that's why he's in my sig, hopefully he get these guys lined up right
Marty McFly Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Rex always seems to take his old teams left overs. I dont see Davis setting Buf on fire tho TBH. If the price is rite like AlwaysBillieve said !@#$ it, were in need of cheap LB talent that know Rexs defense.
YoloinOhio Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 (edited) Oh god. No. I don't think Rex wants him tbh. Edited January 28, 2016 by YoloinOhio
BuffaloHokie13 Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 I'd like it. He'd supplement the inside well enough and he already knows the scheme so calls might get called in more smoothly. Seems kinda like a Jim Leonhard move at this stage, there are probably better players out there physically but he understands where people should be and what adjustments to make.
John from Riverside Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Oh god. No. I don't think Rex wants him tbh. He might If he played well in his D previously......he might be looking to bring in players so he can install HIS defense correctly (and get buy in)

dreadlox Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Yolo, or Buffalo Barbarian. What insight do you have on this guy to say we do or do not want him? I'm asking as someone who knows basically nothing about him. I'd just like to get both opinions.

Who knows what the teams is actually looking at but he played 3 seasons under Rex and had over 100 tackles his last two yrs with Rex and he knows the system and he's young so it should be a fit. http://www.nfl.com/player/demariodavis/2533008/profile

QCity Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Oh God no. We're full on our quota of mediocre linebackers.

He was the one Karlos abused on the TD catch. IMO that shows what he thinks of him. In the 2nd game, he barely played. Unfortunately if we don't sign Bradham and can't afford anyone better, I guess he's a body. Edited January 29, 2016 by YoloinOhio
DukeyBomb Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 I'm going to say no. For a few reasons. There are positives and negatives here. Positives: knows how to tackle. And knows Rex's D. Negatives: Doesn't make huge plays. Not the best in cvg. We can find a far cheaper LB with more potential and more play making ability imo in someone who hasn't had the opportunity. Ty Powell is still on the team as wel guys. Don't sleep on him. He would have out played Bradham and probably Brown this year with how those guys played.

dreadlox Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Thanks guys for the info. His stats indicate he could at least be productive in Rex's D but Yolo's observation about his diminishing role on the Jests is a good one.

26CornerBlitz Posted January 29, 2016 Author Posted January 29, 2016 just looked it up - he played a total of 16 snaps in week 17, their biggest game of the year. That shouldn't matter if he does indeed play for the Bills in Rex's system.
