Federal judge eases Pennsylvania's ballot requirement for third party candidates.

http://www.post-gazette.com/early-returns/erstate/2016/07/01/Federal-judge-gives-third-parties-a-helping-hand-on-PA-ballot/stories/201607010174

I question the timing.

.

When the two major party candidates are as pathetic as Trump and Hillary, the timing is perfect, if not a bit late.

No.

Trump is close in PA.

Hillary cannot win without PA.

So the more choices the better for Hillary.....................THAT is the motivation

Just NBC and the inevitable "concern over republican overreach "

Analysis: Republicans Risk Playing into Clinton’s Hands With Comey Hearing.

As Allahpundit noted in 2013, in a post titled “Actual NYT headline: ‘IRS Focus on Conservatives Gives GOP an Issue to Seize On,’

You know this routine by now: If it’s a scandal involving Republicans, the story is the scandal. If it’s a scandal involving Democrats, the story — or at least a significant part of it — is whether and how Republicans will ‘politicize’ the scandal for their advantage…

JOURNALISM: Sign of the Times? Congresswoman to be indicted, no story in NYT.

If a loony left publication like Slate is bashing Ginsburg....

...and who admires a Justice enough to change their mind? Lawyers?

What was the point, unless she plans to step down soon, or that she has completely given up the notion of an unbiased Supreme Court. Are the liberal Justices finally going to stop pretending they're reading the Constitution?

ERIC HOLDER HAS long insisted that he tried really hard when he was attorney general to make criminal cases against big banks in the wake of the 2007 financial crisis. His excuse, which he made again just last month, was that Justice Department prosecutors didn’t have enough evidence to bring charges.

Many critics have long suspected that was bull ****, and that Holder, for a combination of political, self-serving, and craven reasons, held his department back.

A new, thoroughly-documented report from the House Financial Services Committee supports that theory. It recounts how career prosecutors in 2012 wanted to criminally charge the global bank HSBC for facilitating money laundering for Mexican drug lords and terrorist groups. But Holder said no.

When asked on June 8 why his Justice Department did not equally apply the criminal laws to financial institutions in the wake of the 2008 economic crisis, Holder told the platform drafting panel of the Democratic National Committee that it was laboring under a “misperception.”

He told the panel: “The question you need to ask yourself is, if we could have made those cases, do you think we would not have? Do you think that these very aggressive U.S. attorneys I was proud to serve with would have not brought these cases if they had the ability?”

The report — the result of a three-year investigation — shows that aggressive attorneys did want to prosecute HSBC, but Holder overruled them.

bull ****. That article conveniently ignores the well-known fact (in government IT circles) that the FBI's replacement system was one of the single most !@#$ed-up federal IT acquisitions of the past 15 years (off the top of my head, only NYC's "CityTime" was more !@#$ed up, but that was because of a lack of oversight and contractor fraud so rampant it was honestly funny.) They're using an antiquated system instead of their new system because they don't have a new system - it still doesn't work.

The MSM will stay silent over #DNCLeaks. If this was #GOPLeaks it would be covered for weeks.

Honestly, with George Stephanopoulos and Chris Cuomo out in the open, why would I think the #DNCleak is controversial?

BUSTED: 19,252 Emails From DNC Leaked By Wikileaks

by Caleb Howe

On Friday, website Wikileaks posted over 19,000 emails that were taken from the Democratic National Committee that show story manipulation and collusion with the MSM, internal attempts to sabotage Bernie Sanders during the primary, and a whole lot more.

This huge political story and scandal broke on Friday morning, though you may not have heard about it. It seems the collusion extended even to burying the story of the leak itself, as most news outlets gave it minimal coverage and little air time, and Twitter was accused of actively covering it up.

Here are the story highlights (we'll have much more on this throughout the weekend.)

Here's a breakdown from The Hill, one of the first sites to cover the leak:

And here's a good starting summary from The Next Web:

THE SUPPRESSION: Best summed up by the Washington Examiner:

Call it a hunch, but I don't think the DNC wanted Bernie Sanders to win the primary against Hillary.

Cut the MSM some slack. They've got more important stuff to cover.

Like Melania Trump's plagiary of Michelle Obama's speech

I'm excited the DNC and media are being exposed. Unfortunately not enough people willcare

Normally I would agree, but I don't think the Bernie followers are a fluke. They may be misguided in my eyes, but he really pit them against Hillary based on the fact that the DNC system is rigged. They genuinely see HIllary as the corrupt Wall Street and foreign money-laundering hawk that she is.

Watching everything released to confirm it, especially during the convention...I have to wonder how Bernie handles his speech.

Talk about a shift: I didn't watch a moment of the RNC, and somehow can't wait to watch the DNC.
