Astrobot Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I think these guys moved up as a result of the Shrine Week practices and Shrine Game. These are still Day 3 or Priority Free Agents, but I think they start on an NFL Roster. -Dean OG Alex Huettel (Bowling Green) OG Ted Karras (Illinois) OG Charles Vaillancourt (Laval, Canada) OC Graham Glasgow (Michigan) OT Brandon Shell (South Carolina) FB Derek Watt (Wisconsin) RB Josh Ferguson (Illinois) RB Brandon Ross (Maryland) RT Alex Lewis (Nebraska) QB Vernon Adams, Jr. (Oregon) WRF Geronimo Allison (Illinois) WRF Jared Dangerfield (W Kentucky) WRF Devon Cajuste (Stanford) WRF Chris Brown (Notre Dame) CB/KR Cre'von Leblanc (FAU) CB Brian Poole (Florida) DE43 Victor Ochi (Stony Brook) DE/LB James Cowser (S Utah) DE Tyronne Holmes (Montana) DE David Onyemata (Manitoba) DT Cory Johnson (Kentucky) DT Javon Hargrave (SC State) DT/DE Anthony Zettel (Penn State) S Justin Simmons (BC) S Michael Caputo (Wisconsin) NFLPA Game OT Dominique Robertson (W Georgia) OLB Jatavis Brown (Akron) QB Travis Wilson (Utah) RB Travis Greene (Bowling Green) WRF McKale McKay (Cincinnati) SeniorBowl Rosters: Print Version: North---http://bit.ly/1S5TtAU South---http://bit.ly/1ZYJKRp
Blokestradamus Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Have to admit, I hadn't watched much of Illinois but Karras really impressed me. Drew rave reviews in practice from many people. The way he pulls so gracefully, I wonder if he could be a late round grooming project to eventually take over from Richie at LG.

What does "WRF" mean vs "WR"?
justnzane Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Thanks, Astro. What does "WRF" mean vs "WR"? WRF means featured wide receiver WRS meas slot or speed receiver
boyst Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Thanks, Astro. What does "WRF" mean vs "WR"? tradition at wrf was wr flanker. Wrs was wr slot. Some sites, with the watered down NFL info. Use it as featured. Some use it as speed or secondary. It is wrong to use it as such But in most cases still is flanker. And slot

They do a pretty good job WRT prospect coverage, imo
Blokestradamus Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I do like this piece on Ted Karras. Sounds like a guy Bills fans would take to their hearts pretty quickly. http://espn.go.com/blog/ncfnation/post/_/id/117940/illinois-ol-teddy-karras-finds-success-by-controlling-intensity
boyst Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I was quoting the site, that Astro contributes to drafttek.com . They do a pretty good job WRT prospect coverage, imoit definitely does. In astro and the draftek site it is more important for their grading to note how a wr is being judged. That's why they use it and use it correctly. Otherwise flanker slot etc work

Blokestradamus Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Is Karras related to Alex Karras? Great-nephew of Alex. 7th member of the Karras family to play Big Ten football.
GunnerBill Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I thought Huettel was second only to Adams in terms of being impressive on Saturday. I really liked him.
