Okay?

The argument that MANY of us have made is that this is the best QB play that the Bills have gotten in this millennium. No one is saying that he is perfect. Certain people are searching for "the next" guy when there is a very, very good chance that we have him now. Instead of people trying to poke holes in a 1st year starter that has had success at every level (#3 QB recruit out of high school, conference player of the year in college and Pro Bowl QB in his 1st year as a starter), lets appreciate and develop what we have.

This isn't some guy with raw physical tools with no production. He has produced at every level. Why do some people think that Connor Cook (as an example) is more likely to develop into a franchise QB than Tyrod Taylor? Based on what? Based on his play so far Tyrod is MORE likely to be a franchise QB than anyone entering the league in the near future. Now if he regresses over the next season maybe you start looking but at the moment that would make no sense.

I don't disagree with the bolded at all. Nor do I think Cook has a better chance of being the guy than Tyrod. You're projecting.

Nope. I think you draft a guy to stash on the bench for a year or two just in case.

Which is what I think as well. Less of just in case and more because I think that there is only one viable option on the roster. I would not be looking prior to about the 5th round though. Someone like a Doughty, Prescott, Adams

6 months ago I would've said 3rd, but with all our holes now, I doubt we look at all.

Awesome. I can't wait to hear the excuses now.

We have a pro bowl QB. Yes, pro bowl voting isn't scientific, but if this doesn't show the only ones who don't love him are Bills fans who will never be happy, nothing will.

Maybe some of us are older than 12 and don't give a crap about the pro bowl? I think it's great for Tyrod, and he should be super confident going into the preseason, but you'd have to be pretty clueless if you base your opinions of players on whether or not they make the pro bowl.

It's weird that they pay them different amount for a pickup game where they aren't playing full speed.

It's more weird that they pay them so little and then wonder why so many players skip it. And that it's played before the SB, essentially removing 6-10 players who otherwise might have participated.

To all Taylor haters, perhaps this signifies that those who know talent know Taylor.

Is Sam Bradford gonna qb the nfc ?

It is kind of funny that those 5 people have been pretty much disarmed. One of them just stopped coming here. :

So we are all set at qb ? I'm not buying it yet. He pooped the bed a few times, everyone kinda forgets those games for some reason.

We are NOT in search of a starting QB. I would say that there is an 85% chance that Tyrod is the starter here for at least the next 3 seasons and 100% chance (if healthy) that he is starting next year.

Are you more confident in the QB situation entering the 2015 season or the 2016 season?

Depends what 'all set' means. They're all set for opening day starter and they're not going to spend big coin on a FA.

Only question for me is, do they look to draft a QB in rounds 2-5.

Wood: Goal already set for O-line in 2016
Bills Pro Bowl center Eric Wood, who was named to the Pro Bowl roster officially on Monday as a replacement for Carolina C Ryan Kalil, talked about the parts of the offense that he felt helped his case as a Pro Bowl caliber player this season. He also shared a team goal that the offensive line already has on the docket for 2016.

Whaley: Incognito reclaimed his name

Prior to signing with the Buffalo Bills, Richie Incognito was a former Pro Bowl guard who saw his contract terminated by his team (Miami) in the wake of a bullying scandal. Two years later, Incognito successfully reclaimed his status as a Pro Bowl caliber player and proved to be a model teammate and leader in Buffalo’s locker room.

Bills GM Doug Whaley told Buffalobills.com that seeing Incognito headed back to the Pro Bowl speaks volumes about how far the veteran lineman has come.

@tydunne

Asked Doug Whaley if the #Bills would seriously consider a QB early. He cites Taylor/Manuel in final year of deals and says "Absolutely."

@pecrawleynfl

Whaley did preface this by saying he thinks the QBs in this draft are projects who won't be ready for a year or two.

Well, getting named All Pro is far more legit and comes with no money. Getting 30 or 60K for a two hand touch pickup game/picnic and a family vacation is pretty sweet for these guys. No one cares who's not there because of the SB. Lets other guys who wouldn't have made it take a nice trip.
