Hot Buffalo Wings Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 God now we will never get him signed!I have a feeling he will stick around.
The Avenger Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 "Incognito started all 16 games in 2015 for the Bills at center" Who knew? He bullied Eric Wood into actually snapping the ball, though - just a big bully.....

Niagara Dude Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 God now we will never get him signed! Good there are better younger options, would not pay more then 4-5 mill for 3 years with 8 mill guaranteed.
3rdand12 Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Wood plays better on the move. and that is what the o line did mostly this year. Congrats to Eric and T2
GunnerBill Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 It's a popular take but I don't see it. Marrone's blocking scheme was simple mano-a-mano so you really got to see whether an OL could get a push and Wood was just plain getting his assswhipped to a pulp week after week. Roman's system put the OL on the offensive and gave them angles into their blocks.......just far more blocker-friendly approach in an era where there is so much physical talent to contend with on NFL D-Lines. Yes undoubtedly that helps too as did the variety in Roman's run game. The book on Marrone and Hackett was trying to run up the middle teams stacked the middle of the defense. Roman's scheme goes outside it goes inside and as you have already mentioned it includes the threat of Taylor that forces defences to respect an extra threat. I still can't help think upgraded guard play helped.... Even if only with Wood's all round comfort level.
White Linen Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Good on him. I do wonder if he'll be welcomed or does no one care?
boyst Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Good on him. I do wonder if he'll be welcomed or does no one care? i think he will be welcomed. these are not PC men that play football. they are roughneck and jocks. the strong survive, type. the alpha male type.
Saxum Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 "Incognito started all 16 games in 2015 for the Bills at center" Who knew? Well it was stated our center improved enough to make the pro bowl so I guess we know why; now all of that snapping a ball by Wood was just an illusion.
rayray808 Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 I sent a private message to Tyrod inviting him to come to my 8th grade US History class this week (I teach in Hawaii)... letʻs hope he replies
26CornerBlitz Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Eric Wood: "I'm honored to represent the Bills" (7:33)Bills center Eric Wood joins Insider Chris Brown on The John Murphy Show to share his reaction to being named to the 2016 Pro Bowl, representing the Bills. He also takes a look back at his play during this past season.
Mr. WEO Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 @Gil_Brandt 14 happy calls today for those replacing Pro Bowl players from the Super Bowl-bound Broncos and Panthers. On top of a trip to Hawaii, Pro Bowl winners get $58,000 while the losers' share is $29,000. It's weird that they pay them different amount for a pickup game where they aren't playing full speed.
Maury Ballstein Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Phillip Rivers turns down pro bowl for personal reasons. Pro bowl is dead.
Dorkington Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 (edited) Wood is a technique blocker. Giving him a bad rap because he doesn't over power DTs is like saying McCoy sucks because he doesn't run over LBs. Edited January 26, 2016 by Dorkington
KD in CA Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 The Buffalo Bills have a Pro Bowl quarterback Keep saying it everyone! CBF I might have to watch this year! having said that.....CANCEL the game.....it's a sham ......most players don't want to be in it or half try......to much risk of injury. This. All star games are a relic of the past, from an era before the internet and digital media made it possible to watch every play in every game all year long.
Formerly Allan in MD Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 To all Taylor haters, perhaps this signifies that those who know talent know Taylor.
FireChan Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 (edited) To all Taylor haters, perhaps this signifies that those who know talent know Taylor. Perhaps, but perhaps not. A relatively complete list of 1st year starting Pro Bowl QB's in the last decade. Vince Young RG3 Nick Foles Josh Freeman Andrew Luck Russel Wilson Cam Newton Andy Dalton Seems to be pretty even between bums and stars. Edited January 26, 2016 by FireChan
Kirby Jackson Posted January 26, 2016 Author Posted January 26, 2016 To all Taylor haters, perhaps this signifies that those who know talent know Taylor. It is kind of funny that those 5 people have been pretty much disarmed. One of them just stopped coming here. The other 4 just pick and choose ridiculous altered stats and point to them. They look for the stats that will make him look the worst and build their case around that. It is really stupid actually. Perhaps, but perhaps not. K D Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 the Pro Bowl is a joke. it will either be done away with or they will need to drastically change things. stars don't want to go and risk injury. what should probably happen is they turn it into a rookies vs 2nd yr guys game or perhaps do away with the game itself and make it some kind of skills competition thing
