K D Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Carr, Tyrod, Bridgwater all looked out of place out there. Pro Bowl has become a joke unfortunately.
reddogblitz Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 (edited) Carr is weird for me. He makes some really nice plays, he just seems to be really hectic at times. It's disconcerting. Carr did what often he seems to do in Raider games I've seen. Makes some incredible plays and some bad plays. With the bad out numbering the good but looking sweet on the incredible plays. I was expecting TYrod to run more. I thought he would have success against a D playing loose. But obviously the plan was to throw long up for grabs jump balls. Edited February 1, 2016 by reddogblitz
NickelCity Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 I look forward to the treatise on how TT's Pro Bowl performance proves he's not a franchise QB. I admit I immediately thought "who is going to start a thread about this debacle on tsw?" He really should be happy he has Roman here.
ALF Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 I can give Taylor a break for 3 ints , maybe poor play calling. I can also give EJ a break for the Jags game with the headset not working to befuddle him. I guess I really just want them both to succeed
Buffalo Barbarian Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Tyrod! Great throw! This would be TT all the time if Roman didn't limit his attempts
Maury Ballstein Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Woof. Time to scrap that 19 mil contract.

I am still giving Rob Johnson a break for taking too many sacks.
Doc Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 I look forward to the treatise on how TT's Pro Bowl performance proves he's not a franchise QB. Well, he certainly didn't prove that he is a franchise quarterback.
Maury Ballstein Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Well, he certainly didn't prove that he is a franchise quarterback. You know he had a treatise ready for us if those 3 ints were TD's. Funny stuff.

ricojes Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 (edited) Well, he certainly didn't prove that he is a franchise quarterback. If he would have lit it up, it would have been "yes, but it was the Pro Bowl and no one was playing defense". I don't think you can really prove anything in the pro bowl, just glad he didn't get hurt. Like it or not, he is our starting QB next season.... Edited February 1, 2016 by ricojes

No, he's definitely earned the starting job for next year. I'm just saying that giving him a new contract will have to wait until at least mid way through next year.
fridge Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Didn't watch the game, but 3 INTs has no effect on my opinion of Taylor the same way 3 TDs wouldn't. It's the pro bowl. It doesn't matter.
