SF Welomes the Super Bowl

Though the game is nearly an hour south of the city and much closer to the larger San Jose I think SF is a great destination for the fans. There is so much to do there from the city itself to its proximity to Napa and Sonoma wine country. It is however wreaking havoc on the traffic in the city that is already pretty messed up at times. I will avoid the city the next couple weeks unfortunately my wife works there but she takes the ferry across the bay so it doesn't affect her too much. We're getting out of town the day of the game to Sonoma with a friend and luckily after we pick him up at SFO we'll be heading the opposite way from everyone else. Should be interesting to see how few people are at the wineries. Also the traffic around the stadium has been bad during regular game days so I'm glad I live nowhere near there.

Here's to a great game!

I've spent a lot of time in San Francisco over the past year and have really grown to hate that city. Dirty, overpriced, and rampant melancholy depression sum up that city for me.

We lived in the city for over 3 years and I agree with you. It's great living on the "other side" and can still head over every now and then to take advantage of the good things the city has to offer.
