dave mcbride Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 (edited) Key loss of the season - nate solder. Vollmer is a great rt but a horrible lt, and cannon and fleming shouldn't be starting for any team. It killed them in the end. All three were terrible today and cost the team the game. Felonious Monk Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 (edited) Some real classy posts here guys. The fact that Brady is a great QB is grounds for mad respect. The fact that Brady is a world-class, whiny, classless, *cheating douche who made zero friends on his way up is grounds for classless posts on his way down. Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 time des to run during PATs But during a 2 pt conversion isn't the ball live if the D recovers a fumble/intercepts? So time should have come off during the INT/ runback?
1st&ten Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Love it, love it---Patriots are not going to the Super Bowl !!!!
dave mcbride Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 But during a 2 pt conversion isn't the ball live if the D recovers a fumble/intercepts? So time should have come off during the INT/ runback? Nope - always untimed

So time should have come off during the INT/ runback? It's an untimed play regardless of what happens. Edited January 24, 2016 by 26CornerBlitz
Freddie's Dead Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 But during a 2 pt conversion isn't the ball live if the D recovers a fumble/intercepts? So time should have come off during the INT/ runback? No. If you block the XP and run it back, it's a point, but the entire down is untimed.
/dev/null Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 But during a 2 pt conversion isn't the ball live if the D recovers a fumble/intercepts? So time should have come off during the INT/ runback? PAT and 2 Pt Conversions are not timed plays
Felonious Monk Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Great job Denver for getting to the Super Bowl! Pre-congratulations to Carolina/Arizona for winning it.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 No. If you block the XP and run it back, it's a point, but the entire down is untimed. It's actually 2 points.
YoloinOhio Posted January 25, 2016 Author Posted January 25, 2016 (edited) The Pats had no running game. Not even a slice of a running game. They ran for 44 yards. Brady threw 56 times. Might still be good enough to beat a lot of teams. But not good enough to go to the SB. They were unbalanced all year and it caught up to them in the end. Especially at the end of the season when they couldn't get win enough to home field . With a running game, they probably do. Edited January 25, 2016 by YoloinOhio
NoSaint Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 But during a 2 pt conversion isn't the ball live if the D recovers a fumble/intercepts? So time should have come off during the INT/ runback? No - the clock doesn't start mid play The Pars had no running game. Not even a slice of a running game. They ran for 44 yards. Brady threw 56 times. Might still be good enough to beat a lot of teams. But not good enough to go to the SB. It can plenty of years. Has before and could have today, but didn't.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Pats should have kicked FGs on their last three drives for the win, oh well.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Great job Denver for getting to the Super Bowl! Pre-congratulations to Carolina/Arizona for winning it. I'm rooting for Peyton all the way, Class act HOF QB deserves one more before he hangs it up.
BuffaloBaumer Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 The new extra point rule is the DUMBEST ever. Having a game decided on meaningless kicks is ridiculous

Every one of them.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 The new extra point rule is the DUMBEST ever. Having a game decided on meaningless kicks is ridiculous yep it sux, just need to get rid of the extra point all together unless you want two.
Freddie's Dead Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 It's actually 2 points. I stand corrected sir. I thought it depended upon the offensive attempt, but it does not. A TD by either team on a try is indeed two points.
