Key loss of the season - nate solder. Vollmer is a great rt but a horrible lt, and cannon and fleming shouldn't be starting for any team. It killed them in the end. All three were terrible today and cost the team the game.

Some real classy posts here guys.

The fact that Brady is a great QB is grounds for mad respect.

The fact that Brady is a world-class, whiny, classless, *cheating douche who made zero friends on his way up is grounds for classless posts on his way down.

But during a 2 pt conversion isn't the ball live if the D recovers a fumble/intercepts?

So time should have come off during the INT/ runback?

It's an untimed play regardless of what happens.

No. If you block the XP and run it back, it's a point, but the entire down is untimed.

PAT and 2 Pt Conversions are not timed plays

The Pats had no running game. Not even a slice of a running game. They ran for 44 yards. Brady threw 56 times. Might still be good enough to beat a lot of teams. But not good enough to go to the SB. They were unbalanced all year and it caught up to them in the end. Especially at the end of the season when they couldn't get win enough to home field . With a running game, they probably do.

No - the clock doesn't start mid play

It can plenty of years. Has before and could have today, but didn't.

And they ran it too much. All of those runs were wasted downs. Every one of them.
