FireChan Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 We consider Obama and Hillary center right. Who the hell is left? Is Barrack Obama really the benchmark? You seem to think Putin is. I'm curious too. Lots of hand-wringing over Trump, but I haven't seen a serious take down or prediction of what will happen with him elected.

Lots of hand-wringing over Trump, but I haven't seen a serious take down or prediction of what will happen with him elected. Probably the same thing that happened to him when he tried to be a casino mogul and had to face people across the table who could care less about his bluster. He's an intellectual lightweight and is a class A huckster. Once the bluster wears off, there's worse than an empty suit.
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I see trump as more of a populist/nationalist than a conservative. Cruz is my #1 but I would vote for trump if he was the R nominee Sanders is center left, Richard D. Wolff would be a moderate leftestYou seriously think Sanders is anywhere near center?
DC Tom Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Probably the same thing that happened to him when he tried to be a casino mogul and had to face people across the table who could care less about his bluster. He's an intellectual lightweight and is a class A huckster. Once the bluster wears off, there's worse than an empty suit. Sounds familiar...
B-Man Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Sanders is center left, Bernie SandersVerified account @BernieSanders 2h2 hours ago If Wall Street does not end their greed, we will end it for them. In the Democrat Party that position is center-left........................

I'm farther left than Sanders and about half my friends, work associates and family is farther left than I am.
GG Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Sounds familiar... Aha I'm farther left than Sanders and about half my friends, work associates and family is farther left than I am. What's it like to be a free rider?
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I'm farther left than Sanders and about half my friends, work associates and family is farther left than I am. Why haven't you moved to Germany or some other socialist utopia?
FireChan Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I'm farther left than Sanders and about half my friends, work associates and family is farther left than I am. Do you post on the public library's computer? Probably the same thing that happened to him when he tried to be a casino mogul and had to face people across the table who could care less about his bluster. He's an intellectual lightweight and is a class A huckster. Once the bluster wears off, there's worse than an empty suit. Wouldn't Trump's bluster by definition, not be once he has the power of the USA executive?
GG Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Wouldn't Trump's bluster by definition, not be once he has the power of the USA executive? That's the point. Whenever he's had to deal with people across the table who did't fall for bluster he got taken to the cleaners. The presidency isn't a dictatorship, and he is very authoritarian and can get away with it when he runs his company. He didn't fare nearly as well when he ran a public company with a board of directors.
meazza Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I'm curious too. Lots of hand-wringing over Trump, but I haven't seen a serious take down or prediction of what will happen with him elected. He'll build a wall and you're going to pay for it.
....lybob Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Do you post on the public library's computer? Nice, I suppose you post from your "urban strife" protection bunker.
Doc Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 We consider Obama and Hillary center right. Who is "We"? Communists?
unbillievable Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I'm farther left than Sanders and about half my friends, work associates and family is farther left than I am. So where in North Korea does your job and family live? %25 of the US would be considered centrists or liberal. The other 75% of us are extreme righties.
jr1 Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Andrew Breitbart and Michelle Malkin warned conservatives about The Donald
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Every time I see this thread I laugh. I remember being at a bills game and a guy wearing a Jersey with the name "Tumster" sitting a couple rows in front of me
Wacka Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Sanders is a f'n commie.Obama is a little to the right of him and Shillary is in between them.
Azalin Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 (edited) He'll build a wall and you're going to pay for it. Well then, it would be the first thing in nearly eight years that we actually did pay for. Edited January 25, 2016 by Azalin
4merper4mer Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Bush calling Trump a non-conservative is like William Perry calling Vince Wilfork a non-scat back.
