FireChan
We consider Obama and Hillary center right. Who the hell is left? Is Barrack Obama really the benchmark? You seem to think Putin is. I'm curious too. Lots of hand-wringing over Trump, but I haven't seen a serious take down or prediction of what will happen with him elected. Probably the same thing that happened to him when he tried to be a casino mogul and had to face people across the table who could care less about his bluster. He's an intellectual lightweight and is a class A huckster. Once the bluster wears off, there's worse than an empty suit.
drinkTHEkoolaid
I see trump as more of a populist/nationalist than a conservative. Cruz is my #1 but I would vote for trump if he was the R nominee Sanders is center left, Richard D. Wolff would be a moderate leftestYou seriously think Sanders is anywhere near center? Wouldn't Trump's bluster by definition, not be once he has the power of the USA executive?
GG
Wouldn't Trump's bluster by definition, not be once he has the power of the USA executive? That's the point. Whenever he's had to deal with people across the table who did't fall for bluster he got taken to the cleaners. The presidency isn't a dictatorship, and he is very authoritarian and can get away with it when he runs his company. He didn't fare nearly as well when he ran a public company with a board of directors.
