Beerball Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 If New England wins we will have a competitive Superbowl. If Denver wins the Superbowl will be a blow out NFC victory. I'm ok with this.
GunnerBill Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 I'm ok with this. Haha. Not an unexpected take Beerball
KD in CA Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Im strangely comfortable with this My only discomfort is that it might not be true.
machine gun kelly Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Everyone is Oliver Stone these days. Give me a break. The best team will win. I hate it, but probably the Patriots. I'm rooting for the Broncos like every other Bills fan. I It doesn't matter though as the NFC team will win the SB.
YoloinOhio Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Reread if necessary http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_/id/13533995/split-nfl-new-england-patriots-apart
K D Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Worth noting: Tom Brady has a losing record in Denver (2-6). Should be closer than most people think
K D Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 TABLETgate! Pats surface tablets not working, can't get video of plays. Love it!
YoloinOhio Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 TABLETgate! Pats surface tablets not working, can't get video of plays. Love it! love how Nantz used the brand name Microsoft surface too when saying they were malfunctioning. Apple execs doing shots.
apuszczalowski Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 (edited) I don't know why everyone thinks Goodell has it in for the Pats and Kraft and him are now enemies. I believe the fight the NFL put up against Brady and the Pats was/is all for show so the league can say they are trying to discipline them for a wrong but to no avail. The Pats/Kraft accept a monetary penalty and the loss of a pick that is no big deal for them since it will be a late pick. I wouldnt be surprised if Kraft came up with most of it to hide other things they have been doing. Otherwise why would he not appeal the draft pick and fine part of the punishment when Brady appealed and won. As for this game, if there is a fix, it's because everyone put their money on the pats and Denver in the SB give Manning a chance to go out on top where he can join an ownership for the Titans like the league wants...... K D Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Worth noting: Tom Brady has a losing record in Denver (2-6). Should be closer than most people think Check that, 2-7 now! :-)
/dev/null Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 love how Nantz used the brand name Microsoft surface too when saying they were malfunctioning. Apple execs doing shots. Since the tablets were adopted by the NFL they were called the Microsoft Surfaces. Not the tablets, the hand helds, or even the Surfaces. The NFL, the networks, and all the sponsors are very brand conscious. Nantz was calling them by the name the league and it's partners want it called
Fixxxer Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 if the fix was in the NFL and the refs did a marvelous job disguising it.
TheFunPolice Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Dolphins and Jets have done their parts... Time for the Bills to step up BTW Bills were 4-2 in AFC East
Saxum Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Check this article out (looks like Goodell will get his revenge on Bob Kraft tomorrow): http://m.nydailynews.com/sports/football/manning-record-ref-ed-hochuli-concerns-patriots-fans-article-1.2504709WE Everyone who creates a gate reference should be called an idiot by DC Tom.
Talley56 Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 if the fix was in the NFL and the refs did a marvelous job disguising it. Yeah, infact Brady got away with 2 blatant intentional groundings on that last drive. If anything, they were trying to fix the game in NE's favor.
OhDozeBills Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Funny how wrong this thread is as it was pretty much the opposite. The lateral call was not conclusive, Brady had at least 2 intentional grounding plays that wasn't called. Amendola fumbled and that call went the Pats way. So, if anything the Pata got the big calls in this one and the Broncos still found a way.
major Posted January 25, 2016 Author Posted January 25, 2016 When I'm wrong I'm wrong, and I was wrong yesterday. The pats did get the big calls and still lost.
buffaloboyinATL Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Right...lol NE* is going to win, and it will probably be by 10+ points. There is absolutely no way Denver wins this game. It's sad but we all know how this one goes. They are going all the way (again). No matter what happens all season the end is the same: Patriots* celebrate another SB win. I hope for your sake you are not a gambler. Turns out there was a way for Denver to win.
BarleyNY Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 I'd just like to chime in and say that I still don't care if it was fixed or not. The Pats lost and that's all I cared about.
