26CornerBlitz Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Nelson has to probably wait until the draft is over and someone will plug a hole afterwards. Good point. With the draft less than 30 days away, many other veteran UFAs are in the same situation.

Saint Doug Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Damn that Gilmore and Glenn holding Bills hostage like this No, the Bills are holding themselves hostage by not extending or trading them.
3rdand12 Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 No, the Bills are holding themselves hostage by not extending or trading them. Well Gilmore has to agree to a contract and so does Glenn. Two to tango. I thought Whaley has said they were a priority ?
BarleyNY Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Well Gilmore has to agree to a contract and so does Glenn. Two to tango. I thought Whaley has said they were a priority ? You'd think Gilmore would be first up, but signing one of the two is very important and would likely move things along with the other. If both remain set to free agency in 2017 the fact that the Bills can only tag one becomes relevant. I'm not sure that Glenn would be tagged in consecutive years anyway, but it's still a threat. I'm a bit surprised that nothing has gotten done with either. Nothing has come out in the media which is a good sign. That leads me to believe that negotiations are ongoing, but not contentious. Does anyone happen to know who their agents are? Just wondering if they happen to have the same representation.

Glenn is with SportsTrust, who also handle Kyle Williams. Gilmore is with Jason Chayut, the agent that influenced Deion Branch to holdout in 2006.
ALF Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Glenn and Gilmore are also gambling that they don't get a major injury or a poor season on a 1 year contract.
26CornerBlitz Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 @MikeGarafolo Eagles expected to sign OL Stefen Wisniewski this morning, source says. Heads to Philly as guard after one year with the Jaguars as center.

26CornerBlitz Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 i see the raiders as the most improved team in the AFC.....i think they make the playoffs. I agree and it wouldn't be a surprise at all if they do.
GunnerBill Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 i see the raiders as the most improved team in the AFC.....i think they make the playoffs. They should be in the mix I agree. I think the west might be up for grabs. Denver could take a small step back, KC will be solid again, the Raiders could be good and the Chargers should at least be better than last year.
26CornerBlitz Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 @AroundTheNFL Pro Bowl safety Reggie Nelson visiting Raiders https://t.co/fq9kA9LTHA @RapSheet Aldon Smith and the #Raiders have reached an agreement on a contract, as @AdamSchefter said. It's a 2-year deal, I'm told, through 2017.

TY : ) i see the raiders as the most improved team in the AFC.....i think they make the playoffs. My Son is pleased indeed. The Raiders do seem to have a plan and sticking to it. I too would like to see them do well
