BUFFALOKIE Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Green Bay should try to get Marshawn Lynch if he is cut from Seahawks. Lynch and Rodgers would be lethal for a couple of years with Jordy Nelson coming back BOLD PREDICTION: Beastmode retires this off season.
White Linen Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Sadly I don't think we'll see Lynch run like beast mode anymore. I'd imagine his body has paid quit a toll.
YoloinOhio Posted January 19, 2016 Author Posted January 19, 2016 I can't see any way that Seattle keeps paying Marshawn. Rawls looked good in that offense and I'm thinking the could use cap space to fix that OL and pay Irvin, etc. Marshawn might have a year or two left but can see him walking away.
CommonCents Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Lacy strikes me as the guy who made enough to secure a future for him and his mother and now is having a hard time motivating. His dream came true and now he is content. Can't blame the man, however I would like to see him shed the weight and play out another contract he is a talent. GB should look at Forte he would be a nice compliment for Rodgers.

reddogblitz Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 If the Cheese don't want him I'll take him. He and McCoy would be a great one two punch. Thunder and Lightening. Go BILLS !!

Seems like he's got this eating thing under control.
3rdand12 Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 I'm not sure Marshawn is the cure for slow, plodding back syndrome. He may have another year or two of moderate productivity, but I think the end is coming up quickly for Lynch -- 2600 career touches is starting to take its toll with his running style. I'd be shocked if Seattle kept him. Naah...he was just a big, durable dude with a great work ethic. A modern day John Riggins. Eddie Lacy couldn't carry his jock. I would never compare Lacy to either of those Backs. All the talk is Seattle aint spending 9 mill on Lynch, they like what Rawls brings. Marshawn had a tough year and i would imagine he is thinking it's about time.

They rarely make it to a third as RB's, so the big one sets them up for life if they are a stud. Guys like AP are an aberration.
Manther Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 yes or just draft a young, fast RB who can block and pass protect. That offense looks so different with a running game. Anyone would be faster though than Bready Lazy.Well played

Bill from NYC Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 (edited) Some (not all) of the Alabama players do go a little wild when they leave school. Coach Saban is more important to the program than any one player. He is not afraid to toss a kid off the team if he screws up. When they get to the NFL there is no more Saban, and they have a few million dollars in their pockets. Again, this certainly doesn't apply to all Bama grads but admittedly, this is something I thought about when Dareus got that new contract. Edited January 19, 2016 by Bill from NYC
Chandler#81 Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 BOLD PREDICTION: Beastmode retires this off season. That's not so bold. He's been threatening to for the past couple seasons. Granted, some of it is ploy for mo' money, but's nearing the end anyway.

He has millions but he still chooses to eat at Checkers and Sonic CBF
Big Turk Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 That 61 yard run was almost comical because he looked like an offensive lineman running...unbelievably slow for an RB...90% of the RB's in the NFL would have scored on that run...
Dennis in NC Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Haha someone gathered his old tweets about food http://www.totalprosports.com/2016/01/18/old-eddie-lacy-tweets-about-eating-everything-surface-on-twitter/ Mmmm, China food... Hey, Eddie, you never had a butter burger?! Maybe it's not prepared fast enough for him.
YoloinOhio Posted January 19, 2016 Author Posted January 19, 2016 Mmmm, China food... Hey, Eddie, you never had a butter burger?! Maybe it's not prepared fast enough for him. the Culver's chain has fast food butter burgers. He should invest in a franchise!
dpberr Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Again, I don't understand why millionaires with ridiculous amounts of talent seem hell bent on squandering it. In the case of this guy, all he has to do is manage his diet. He has all the resources to do it. It's just a lack of will.
