ChevyVanMiller Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Shocking, if true. http://www.tmz.com/2016/01/18/glenn-frey-the-eagles-dead
YoloinOhio Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Aw man. I was just listening to the Eagles last night on a whim for the first time in quite awhile - eery.
bbb Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Unreal. I just saw them this summer, and so glad I did. I had seen Frey solo once and the Eagles twice. He was definitely the MC of the whole night this summer. This sucks!
ChevyVanMiller Posted January 18, 2016 Author Posted January 18, 2016 The Eagles official site is confirming. How sad. http://eagles.com/news/266763
DC Tom Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Between Bowie and Alan Rickman, I was wondering who'd be next...
KD in CA Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuug. That sucks; absolutely loved his work. I saw the Eagles in '94 at Jones Beach -- such a fun night. Wish I had gotten around to seeing them again. RIP
WotAGuy Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 "Already Gone" So glad I got to see him one more time this past summer in Buffalo. One of my favorite characters - funny and talented.

When introducing Lyin Eyes or or Witchy Woman (don't remember which one), he said "This one goes out to my first wife........Plaintiff"

stevewin Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Just finished rewatching History of the Eagles Part I and Ii on Netflix after hearing the news. Crazy to have a certain picture of someone like that always seeming like in their prime, then they're gone

Turns out I saw his 7th last concert. It's got to The Eagles 7th last concert, too, right? I wouldn't go see them without him.
Chandler#81 Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Between Bowie and Alan Rickman, I was wondering who'd be next... This month sucks -and there's still 12 days to go.

Chef Jim Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 RIP Glenn As I've been saying the past couple of years those of us if a certain age (over 50) are going to be saying goodbye to a lot of the musicians we grew up with. The parade of musical obituaries will continue to written about some of the best to ever come along. The beautiful thing is their legacy will live on forever and I feel lucky to have had them as the soundtrack to a lot of my life.
