When he first started coaching, he had a nasty rule that he needed to trash in order to get the true love of his players. Now, he absolutely has it figured out! Ready for it?....Rex doesn't make is players play football in mid January, late January, and even early February!! Have you seen it out there...it's difficult! Some places are cold. Tough decisions have to be made by coaches. And my God...players actually have to be clutch!! And the pay...forget about it - it stinks!!! So Rex has won over his players by avoiding that mess. "Nope boys," Rex tells his guys. "The playoffs are for suckers!! Follow me to the first week of January, and then relax on your couches and watch those idiot playoff teams on your gigantic TVs. Life is good."
