RyanC883 Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 I'm hoping we get one of the Steelers kickers. Doubtful they keep Suisham and Boswell.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 So excited to see others posting here!!!! CBF
thurst44 Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Ok so show of hands who wants the Bills to draft Roberto Aguayo? *raises hand* CBF I'm in. It saves quite a bit of money and Carpenter was so unreliable last year. I'm in. It saves quite a bit of money and Carpenter was so unreliable last year. Sorry Jordan Gay.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 I just hope we get a kicker with a strong leg I would place the importance of having a clutch kicker right up there with the other impact positions. I mean how many times do we see games coming down to a FG? A lot more now CBF
Nanker Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Am I dreaming or did I really read somewhere here that The Bills released Carpenter?
H2o Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 I just hope we get a kicker with a strong leg I would place the importance of having a clutch kicker right up there with the other impact positions. Coach Tuesday Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 never, ever draft a kicker. Yet the Bills have drafted 2 in the last five years. And neither of them are on the roster!
Canadian Bills Fan Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Yet the Bills have drafted 2 in the last five years. And neither of them are on the roster! I think Hopkins would have been a good kicker for us CBF
Blokestradamus Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 One guy not talked up at all is TCU's Jaden Oberkrom. Had a 60% touchback rate last season, was 21-of-25 on FG's. Had a better statistical year in 2015 than Aguayo. Hit a TCU record breaking 57 yarder in his senior year. Was 100% on kicks over 50 yards (50, 53, 57),
Canadian Bills Fan Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Not bad! Im all for the Bills taking a kicker who has a strong leg CBF
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 I'd like an upgrade. Or maybe we just have Gay ONLY do extra points?? KO/XP specialist?
jumbalaya Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 We should get someone who can kick an extra point, someone that can also cover on special teams, maybe play a little bit of LB and run the ball like no one else. We had him once, they called him Cookie.
ALF Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 I just wonder if Roberto Aguayo can kick as well in wind and bad weather ?
Canadian Bills Fan Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 I just wonder if Roberto Aguayo can kick as well in wind and bad weather ? I wonder if the Bills will bring him in for a workout CBF
Marty McFly Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 (edited) I just hope we get a kicker with a strong leg I would place the importance of having a clutch kicker right up there with the other impact positions. I mean how many times do we see games coming down to a FG? A lot more now CBF Agree, we need to get a real kicker with Aguayo or another solid K and cut carp and gay off the team. Saves cap money and gives us another roster spot. Carp missing those extra points and FGs put us in ****ty situations last season. Edited March 12, 2016 by Marty McFly
Captain_Quint Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 I just wonder if Roberto Aguayo can kick as well in wind and bad weather ? Aguayo reminds me too much of that little Cuban guy who used to kick and then hop around so much he hurt himself.
transient Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Best thing about jettisoning Mario is it frees up another roster spot to add a quality backup punter or maybe more importantly a kick-off ball holder. It's probably unrealistic to think that one guy could fill both of those positions, so hopefully Waylee will work some majik and open up another spot so we can fill these two critical positions with quality players. We're loaded at LB, Safety, and QB, so maybe he could look there. I do have to say this about Chase. He does make a mean cup of coffee. Majik... are you sublimininmally suggesting Whale-E bring back Jon Dorenbos?
stevestojan Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Most importantly, I can't believe I watched that whole thing. That said, the kid is automatic from inside 40. I do t trust the Bills to get to the 23 yard line on a regular basis. He was below average at best (in that video) outside 40.
