4merper4mer
I almost put this in off the wall but felt like it would get too argumentative for that forum. I thought putting it here could get diverse input fro liberals and conservatives but still not really be a topic where people get calling each other names. I visited my tied for fifth cousin Brenda recently and everything went pretty well for the most part. At one point though I saw my nephew playing this game on his IPad. Brenda said it was a very popular game which I find hard to believe. Why? Because it was blatantly racist. The kid really liked it and was super into it so I didn't really say anything but I know I have to at least point it out to Brenda. I don't want to be the jerky uncle taking away all the fun but I also don't want a racist nephew. Has anybody dealt with delicate stuff like this before? Has anyone see iPad games like this before? KD in CA
Another one of those Asian games where they use exaggerated caricatures of white people, huh? How awful.
unbillievable
No context, but I would assume there is some kind of metaphor regarding pigs (police) beating up birds of color?
Chef Jim
Sorry to point this out to you but that wasn't a video game. It was a Michael Jackson video.

No. I can't remember the name. I'll call Brenda. But the objective of the game is to segregate by color to advance. It gets trickier and trickier as you go along but the object is always segregation. It seems to be racist against everyone, too. Not just one race. At points in the game it is not just segregation but elimination of both black and white obstacles. When you do eliminate all of them a little girl celebrates. I'm surprised she isn't wearing a Swat Sticker.

reddogblitz
I had a similar experience. My nephew had his ear buds on connected to his cell phone. I thought he was listening to tune and asked what he was listening to. He wasn't. It was and app where you put in someones phone number and then it makes a crank call. Like a Chinese guy from a Chinese restaurant. banning you for eating too much food or something like that. I guess just calling up the local drug store and asking them if they have Prince Albert in a can isn't good enough for these high tech pranksters. He also told me there were several other ones with cracks about and accusing the caller of being a homo.
