B-Man
I guess that they did not broadcast the State of the Union there ? If only the terrorists in Jakarta were able to hear Obama's unifying speech of tolerance, hope, and change.

Deranged Rhino
It was active last night when I posted originally, as far as I've heard it's been contained with 7 people dead and over 23 wounded. No official confirmation on how many of the dead were the attackers.

Deranged Rhino
They're on the run.......expanding to new areas of operation. Indonesia isn't really a new area of operation for extremists, maybe for ISIS (if this turns out to in fact be ISIS) but not terrorism. They've got a population of over 206 million with 95 or 96% of those being Muslim. Sadly they've had plenty of attacks by extremists since 2001, including one of the biggest at Kuta Beach in '02 where 202 people were killed and another 200+ injured. This is the first attack in Indonesia in nearly 3 years though... so who knows.
