FireChan
doesnt he have major back issues ?(as well as the multiple collarbone breaks that hes having surgery for...) When you don't fully heal from one collar bone break, you're very vulnerable to break it again. It's not some odd "he just can't stay healthy" thing. He rushed back to make a playoff push before he was even healed. I don't consider that injury prone. As to the back thing, prior to this season, Romo has missed 2 games since 2011. Hardly an oft-injured guy. Edited February 2, 2016 by FireChan
machine gun kelly
Someone will get hurt, and that's when a desperate team will take a chance on him. I seriously doubt anyone would pick this clown up now.

aristocrat
what about the boys moving up to 1 to take a qb ahead of the browns? could be a very smart move for them.

Hardly an oft-injured guy. missed games isnt the only metric for injury.... if hes constantly playing hurt, and its on top of that an injury that gets worse not better, id venture its worth taking into account in evaluating your starting qb situation. No doubt to both of those. Romo is 35 already (which is crazy.) I just usually reserve the "injury prone" label for the Goodwin, Harvin, Jake Locker-types. 26CornerBlitz
he's old(er) & his time on the field is winding down. They need options. Options you say? You mean to tell me that the little bitty dude (Kellen Moore) or Cassel are not viable options? Limited interest in Manziel 'in his current state'NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport discusses potential landing spots for Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel after the team plans to cut him in March but cites Manziel's off the field behavior as a hindrance to other teams signing him. Manziel came in saying he was going to wreck the league. What he really meant was wreck the Browns. Stupid draft choice by Haslam. @SalSports Can anyone tell me the last 1st round QB to be outright released (not traded) before making 16 starts for the team that drafted him? I've gone back and looked. Several guys were traded, but to be outright released before 16 starts is a rare occurrence.

I seriously doubt anyone would pick this clown up now.that might make more sense than anyone signing him now. There were teams trying to coax guys like Rex Grossman and Jason Campbell out of retirement to be emergency QBs last year when they experienced injured QBs. Teams get desperate. Yes, but the reason Campbell and Grossman and Orton get calls is because teams know they will show up and put in the effort. Nobody is sure Manziel will do that. Beerball
bill obrien wouldn't put up with Mallett for oversleeping. Not sure he's going to bother with Manziel. Plus, Hoyer is there... That would be a disaster Much better place for him if he has any desire to become an NFL football player & something tells me he does.

YoloinOhio
Is the latest incident with the same ex-gf? yes. They recently broke up, she posted a pic on Instagram of herself with another guy right around the time of the incident. Some assume that was the instigator, but no real details have emerged. Interestingly, around the time of the first incident, the team had concerns over her being around him as a poor influence on his current state of mind.
