Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 I am hearing from Schefter that Jackson may be fired before OTAs. Marrone is actually flying in right now.
BuffaloHokie13 Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 What kind of a parent would name their kid Huge? Not Huge, Hue. Like Brown, or Orange. Suddenly it all makes sense!
BringBackFergy Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 I am hearing from Schefter that Jackson may be fired before OTAs. Marrone is actually flying in right now. Makes sense. He's in demand. Probably still working out the kinks in his contract.
Blokestradamus Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 What kind of a parent would name their kid Huge? At least the family name isn't Johnson.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Makes sense. He's in demand. Probably still working out the kinks in his contract. Marone is seeking a contract that has weekly opt-outs. He only has to stay there 3 weeks to collect $3 million.
Saxum Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Hue Jackson to Cleveland. Could Colin Kaepernick follow? ... #49ers, #Browns http://www.sacbee.com/sports/nfl/san-francisco-49ers/article54471595.html They both worked in California

26CornerBlitz Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Hue Jackson offers Dawg Pound a pound Hue Jackson addresses the media for the first time since becoming the new head coach of the Cleveland Browns.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Hue Jackson says he has 142 texts from coaches who want to join Browns Answer your phone, Hue Jackson.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 He is abrasive there is now doubt. That is why York backed away from him - he didn't want another Harbaugh on his hands. But if he is left to coach I believe he is a hell of a football coach and a terrific leader of men. Cleveland has just hired the best candidate on the market. He will take them back to the play-offs within 2 years.... job 1 - as always.... find a Quarterback. Hue Jackson abrasive? Is that why he's low in the market? I agree, I think he's a good coach, and I wish him all success in Cleveland.
stinky finger Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 @MikeSilver Hue Jackson will become the next head coach of the Cleveland Browns. "They made me feel comfortable," he just told me. Wow. Don't get too comfortable, Hue. Afterall, these are the Browns. I give you into your third year tops.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 not yet. But they have an unorthodox structure. Not 100% certain they will hire one. Weren't they saying they would hire the coach and then the coach and whats-his-name, Sashi Brown, would hire the GM? But non-football-guy Sashi Brown actually has control over the 53 man roster? I hope Hue negotiated for whatever say in personnel he needs to succeed. And I hope he has permission to cut the cord on the Johnny Manziel circus.
QuoteTheRaven83 Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Who they hire as GM is going to be more important that who they hire at HC. They've consistently BOMBED at making all the wrong decisions in the offseason. Manziel, Justin Gilbert, Josh Gordon, Trent Richardson, Barkevious Mingo, Brandon Weeden, just to name a few.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 good for Hugh, and the control is a big factor. Johnny Football better pack his bags. Hugh doesn't tolerate anyone or anything that goes against what he says. That didn't work so well for Chip Kelly Hue must be desperate. got to start somwhere

If they even hire a GM...why bother?

CardinalScotts Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Hue Jackson says he has 142 texts from coaches who want to join Browns ya guys let go from other staffs, position coaches looking to become coordinators, college coaches looking to break into the NFL. How many are established good NFL coaches? Currently ? none
Mr. WEO Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 So Jackson doesn't even interview with the Giants so he can become Jimmy Haslam's next former coach of the Browns? Should change his name to Hue Jidiot.
Chuck Wagon Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Schefter brought up a good point on M & M this morning. Gase and Jackson interviewed for almost every job last year but ultimately were left holding the bag. It's likely not a coincidence those two took the first two jobs they were offered opposed to allowing the process to play out and getting left out again.
