YoloinOhio Posted January 12, 2016 Author Posted January 12, 2016 @viccarucci Donnie Henderson just confirmed for me that he is not returning as #Bills DBs coach, as first reported by @alexmarvez.
LB3 Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I think we're talented enough at DB for it not to matter too much, but he's a good coach and I wish him the best!
Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 WTF? Fire Thurman and promote Crossman to DC CBF Because our ST did so well last season Crossman not only deserves to stay, he deserves a promotion?
bobobonators Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 This off-season is turning into the following: Toilet clogged at One Bills drive. %##$&& Rex! Secretary orders wrong ink cartridge model. *#%*£¥ Rex!!!! Gas prices go up. $%%$@* REX!!!
26CornerBlitz Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Henderson wasn't the only Bills' DB coach as he was coaching in conjunction with Tim McDonald. Good luck Donnie!
billsfan_34 Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I'm just so !@#$ing disillusioned with this **** show. Beyond a joke. Donnie should of been promoted to DC and Thurman shown the door. I think we're talented enough at DB for it not to matter too much, but he's a good coach and I wish him the best! It does matter- its called talent retention and we failed miserably, again. Donnie should of been promoted to DC.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 @viccarucci Donnie Henderson also confirmed for me, per @alexmarvez report, he has interviewed for a spot on the #Colts' coaching staff.
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Someone please tell me why i should care about this. Didn't they say there would be changes to the staff?
Blokestradamus Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Donnie should of been promoted to DC and Thurman shown the door. Thurman doesn't actually do much. He's Rex's Curtis Modkins. Let him keep his pretty title. I'm just annoyed that Donnie is being let go. Good coaches aren't easy to find, he's one of the very best.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Someone please tell me why i should care about this. Didn't they say there would be changes to the staff? You shouldn't get Rexercised about this at all. It's just part of the business of coaching in the NFL.
YoloinOhio Posted January 12, 2016 Author Posted January 12, 2016 Someone please tell me why i should care about this. Didn't they say there would be changes to the staff?you dont have to care, but he was a very good coach
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Rob Ryan becomes DC.. in 3-2-1 Didn't everyone hate Thurman anyway? I'm so confused!
26CornerBlitz Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) Must not have fit Rex's scheme His contract was probably up as a holdover from Marrone's staff. I'm sure he's looking for an opportunity to make a bigger impact on another staff. Edited January 12, 2016 by 26CornerBlitz
YoloinOhio Posted January 12, 2016 Author Posted January 12, 2016 Must not have fit Rex's scheme he is actually a Rex guy. Holdover from Marrone staff but they go way back to Baltimore which I think is why he kept him while bringing his guy too
billsfan_34 Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Didn't everyone hate Thurman anyway? I'm so confused! Yes, most do, but Rob certainly wouldn't be an upgrade.
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 you dont have to care, but he was a very good coach Coaching a unit with multiple high draft picks and vets? I dunno - i don't honestly know what any position coach does in any capacity day to day. My guess is thurman takes a little bit more of that over, and rob helps out with the grand scheme? Should be fun to watch i guess
