TheFunPolice Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Brady is really beat up and a high ankle sprain is no joke. That said, that little punk Edelman is back, so it will be throws in 1.5 seconds to a wide open WR who can run for 8 yards every single play, so the Patriots* awful OL and the Cheifs amazing front 7 won't matter.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 12, 2016 Author Posted January 12, 2016 @BobHoltzmanESPN Sources tell me "very likely" Ben Roethlisberger (shoulder) plays Sunday at Denver, but "not looking good" for Antonio Brown (concussion).
Beerball Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 What if there's no Big Ben. Antonio Brown, or DeAngelo Williams? I reserve the right...
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Patriots.....because I'm not a believer in the Chiefs Broncos....Steelers are banged up Seahawks...Lynch will be back and the defense will get it done Cardinals....Most balanced team, and the Pack is not that good

TheFunPolice Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I predict the Patriots win and score 35+ points. They will once again look unstoppable. How many horror films have you seen? They are your stereotypical horror film villain
26CornerBlitz Posted January 13, 2016 Author Posted January 13, 2016 Six biggest mysteries of the Divisional RoundWhich Peyton Manning will we see versus the Steelers? Will Ben Roethlisberger's injured shoulder prevent him from throwing downfield? Those are just two of the Divisional Round's biggest mysteries.
eball Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 It really doesn't look good for Big Ben. I'm starting to believe Denver will win that one going away -- whether it's Osweiler or Manning behind center. My predictions for the weekend: Seahawks over Panthers Cardinals over Packers Broncos over Stillers Chefs over Pats*** I'll go one step further and give my Super Bowl matchup -- Cards vs. Chefs
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Patriots* are going to the Super Bowl and will probably win. They'll win. They always find a way to win
Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Pats Packers Seahawks Steelers When in doubt, take the proven big-game QBs... and I think Ben plays. Ben may play, but with torn shoulder ligaments his contributions will be limited
Luxy312 Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Pittsburgh @ Denver: If both teams were healthy, I might pick Pittsburgh. They've been as hot as any team in the NFL. That said, you have Roethlisberger with tendon damage and Antonio Brown still on concussion protocols. DeAngelo Williams likely out as well and you're talking about trying to score against a very good Denver defense at home. My pick is Denver all day. Kansas City @ New England: The Chiefs beat the Patriots in September and have actually split with them in their last 6 games. I give them a fighting chance if they stick to the methodology of trying to hit Brady on every play possible. West has proven to be a capable bruising running back that should be able to move the sticks as well. I want the Chiefs to win this game and prove they belong. That said, the Patriots with Tom Brady are 8-1 coming off of a bye week playing in a divisional playoff game. My pick is the Patriots. Seattle @ Carolina: Most of the self-proclaimed experts have this game being the most likely to be won by the visiting team. To that I say, not so fast. Carolina did nothing but lead the NFL in scoring this year and had the 6th best defense in the NFL to boot. To boot, Seattle should have lost to Minnesota. Let's be honest, if A.P. doesn't fumble, that game probably would have remained one sided and Minnesota would be playing/losing to the Panthers. I don't think Carolina will be intimidated either. While Russel Wilson had 35 TD's this season, Cam Newtwon had 45. I like the Panthers at home. Green Bay @ Arizona: This is perhaps the hardest game for me to pick. Green Bay looked phenomenal in their Wild Card game. Aaron Rodgers looked more like he did last year than the inconsistent performances he's put up this year. Arizona punched them in the face just three weeks ago when Green Bay went there to play. I do not believe we'll see another 3 turnover game from Rodgers like we did then, nor the 9 sacks from the Arizona defense. I still like Arizona in a close game, as I think their receivers are just too good. No upsets for me. New England moves on to lose to Denver. Arizona surprises Carolina at home. Denver wins the Superbowl and Peyton Manning retires a winner.
TheFunPolice Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 IF Peyton can put together 3 freaking games where he looks like PFM then Denver can take down the Evil Empire at home, for sure. With that defense they have a shot. For anyone who wants the Patriots* stopped, this is the perfect setup. The Chiefs are a great defense who hits the QB a LOT. They have a puncher's chance, but they will probably make Brady feel those injuries again even if they win. Then the Pats* have to go to Denver and play THAT defense, which is even better and ALSO gets to the QB. If they can run that gauntlet, they then get the NFC team, which whoever it is will also have a great defense but ALSO one of the best offenses in the NFL. We'll see. I still think the Patriots* win it all, because they always seem to find a way. The only time they lose is when they look unbeatable. When they look vulnerable they are actually most dangerous.

You have to Billeve Believe in Checkdown Alice? LOL no way. Hoyer isn't there to gift wrap them the game. IMO the Chiefs are the most over-rated team in the NFL. They will get smoked. IF (and it is a BIG IF) Peyton Manning can summon up the Manning of old for a couple of games I think Denver has a 33% shot of stopping the evil cheating scum. Edited January 14, 2016 by TheFunPolice
