gjv001 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 The Bengals inability to control their behavior ended their season in a very ugly fashion. Many playoff prognosticators argued that the Bengals, with home field advantage and the more talented roster, would be moving into the next round of the playoffs. But as we witnessed, knuckleheaded actions ended the Bengals season. Lets hope that Ryan and company were taking notes.
YoloinOhio Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 What lesson will be learned from the Steelers players and coaches antics?
dwight in philly Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 the antics of the bengals reminded me of the first new england game, the giants game, all selfish penalties that cost field position .. and i do hope ryan did take notes
WotAGuy Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 The difference in lessons between the Bengals' and Steelers' antics is this - some teams get a pass, and others get the screw. The Bills are the latter.

The Bills are the latter.the steelers didn't get really get a pass - munchak penalized on sideline for UC. Dupree taunting on the non-TD set them back and may have cost game in that they had to take FG instead of TD. They talk **** in media all week Yea they should have been penalized even more. What lesson shall we take from Mike Tomlin? Edited January 10, 2016 by YoloinOhio
TheFunPolice Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 The Steelers are thugs. But they are smart thugs. In other words, the Steelers know how to rile up an undisciplined dumb team like the Bengals. They curse the other team out, draw a reaction, and walk away with their hands up like they didn't do anything. That's the difference. And it's so easy to just ignore it and not let them do it to you. Unless you're the Bengals.

One had to win and one had to lose.
TheFunPolice Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) I disagree. The Steelers are a filthy team that knows how to hide the vile crap they do. In a sick way that is discipline. Just like New England*. Filthy, vile cheap shots and crap talking that they insert at key times to draw reactions. Edited January 10, 2016 by TheFunPolice

They talk **** in media all week I got ya, but I was specifically thinking of how the PFs at the end came about and how Porter didn't get one. Bengals and Bills are the types of teams that always get screwed, or screw themselves, in those situations. Seldom see the Steelers, Pats, etc lose games that way. For whatever reason, it just happens across different eras of players, coaches and management - some teams just consistently get the screw. It's kismet! Not blaming the refs at all, it's just certain teams' fate.
TheFunPolice Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Denver is going to obliterate those idiots.
Gugny Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Going 8-8 with a cake schedule was a lesson, no?
PlayoffsPlease Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Going 8-8 with a cake schedule was a lesson, no? It seems as though the players are happy to have the season over early and start their vacation. They don't want to get involved in games like last nights game where both teams kick the snot out of each other. Much better to be dry at the beach.
Kelly the Dog Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 What I find most amazing is that no one has thought to ever tell Vontaze Burfict or Pacman Jones not to do anything stupid. I hope it works.
QuoteTheRaven83 Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Everyone in that stadium should be ashamed of themselves. Bengals fans for throwing water bottles on the field. Officials for their usual sh*t officiating. Steelers coaching staffs for getting physically involved in the game when they had no business doing so. Bengals coaching staff for their inability to control their players. Bengal players for just being stupid. Just a disgraceful game for everyone.
