26CornerBlitz Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I'm not saying it should have been a defenseless receiver penalty. It should have been an unnecessary roughness: helmet to helmet contact. They don't call that with helmet to helmet contact once a player becomes a "runner".
DriveFor1Outta5 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Aside from the Bills I have lost almost all interest in the NFL this year. The games have been boring, poorly officiated, with what seems like many positions lacking talent. Todays games have done nothing to change my mind. This isn't the same game I remember growing up. Keep in mind I'm only 30.
Fixxxer Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 in case the Bengals win today, can Dalton play next week?
Beerball Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Refs are letting this game get away from them again. Hill just shouldered one (ref) in the EZ and just kept walking.

YoloinOhio Posted January 10, 2016 Author Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) The hit on Ben kind of looked like the one TT got at the end of the Pats game on MNF. Maybe can come back in? But a quarter is a lot more than TT had to go. Edited January 10, 2016 by YoloinOhio
stevestojan Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 OK, maybe a little interference. Had the same thoughts. Looked like great coverage. Then, in super slow motion it seems the right call was made.
Dragonborn10 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 In college that is targeting and the player is ejected. What is the point of player safety if that is not a penalty? He lowered and led with his head. It was not the receiver changing the strike zone. That is exactly the type of play that should be flagged and the player ejected. Clear cut lowering and leading with the crown of the helmet.

Hill just shouldered one (ref) in the EZ and just kept walking.I'm not sure that's a penalty...he didn't launch himself with his helmet and it was during a TD celebration. No foul. I read that somewhere.
TheFunPolice Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 It's Denver who would get Pittsburgh without Ben, not NE*

DriveFor1Outta5 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) Huh? This one is gonna turn into a dogfight. Suggest you stick around. The only way this game gets interesting is because Landry Jones performs poorly, and provides the Bengals with a spark. Seeing a star QB leave the game with an injury and open the door for the opponent is not my idea of quality playoff football. Edited January 10, 2016 by DriveFor1Outta5
