CSBill Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 And the NFL officiating just reached a new low. Swallow the whistle on that last one, wasn't a Steelers Coach out on the field? And there was nothing to show Jones touching anyone. WOW
TheFunPolice Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 The Bengals threw the game!  Lol  It's like they remembered they were in a big game.  30 yards of PF penalties on the last drive...
Deranged Rhino Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 This... I don't how that happens. Makes no sense  From what I saw, the refs were trying to get Porter out of there. The situation was under control until Jones came flying in from the side, pushing a ref in order to get there. That's where the flag came from.
KD in CA Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 The call on jones was an absolute joke You can't reach over a ref to throw a punch and not get a flag.
Andrew Son Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Joey porter, a coach, was running his mouth on the field to Bengles players. Unreal
Rico Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Burfict deserved the flag no doubt at all, but I thought Brown put on a whale of a flop there. Â Bungles are ridiculous, at least you can't blame Dalton for this one.
Augie Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 The Bengals threw the game! Lol It's like they remembered they were in a big game. 30 yards of PF penalties on the last drive... AND, the fumble to START the last drive. That took serious effort!
Beerball Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 This... I don't how that happens. Makes no sense He's a coach. Coaches often go on the field when a player is injured. He got bumped from behind and I'm pretty sure he (and the refs) heard some things that should not have been said. Cincy deserved this loss like no team I can think of.
KD in CA Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I don't see how Marvin Lewis can survive this kind of playoff loss. If you're Marvin Lewis, you lose playoff games. It's what you do.
TheFunPolice Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Smart> dumb  Steelers knew they could provoke the idiots
bisonbrigade Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 The officials were a complete joke, that was not a PF and the call on Jones for the second was worse. And Phil Sims makes me want to puke, going on and on about a the call. Really.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 If you're Marvin Lewis, you lose playoff games. It's what you do. Â
Dragonborn10 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 The PF was a good call. There was no need to hit the WR. Burfict is a year or two away from being in prison. Â As for the Jones penalty, what the hell is Joey Porter still doing on the field??? That is BS. No reason for the ref to throw the flag. It would have been a 52 yard FG. Â Â Lewis needs to lose his job. Burfict was out of control and should not have been on the field after he ran into the tunnel.
The Big Cat Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 The refs blew the end of that game. The personal foul was unavoidablele. The Cincy guy was going down ;over and the Pitt receiver is flailing around. What the hell was the defender supposed to do. Then the Pitt guy comes over and reaches past the ref and pushes the Cincy but Cincy get the penalty. Â Could not disagree more. The hit on Brown was deplorable.
TheFunPolice Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Marvin Lewis has to be fired  Zero control of your team. Total embarrassment
MDH Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Probably not what the NFL had in mind when showcasing the Wild Card weekends premier game. Bunch of cheap shots and penalties.

The second penalty was for Jones making contact with an official while trying to go after Porter. The first penalty was well deserved, the second was debatable I. That they could have also went after the Steelers for instigating it, but we do t K of what was said out there and what really happened.
YoloinOhio Posted January 10, 2016 Author Posted January 10, 2016 Probably not what the NFL had in mind when showcasing the Wild Card weekends premier game. Bunch of cheap shots and penalties.kind of Interesting that you rarely see college games devolve into the stupidity you see in NFL, and they're not even full-fledged adults yet.
Prickly Pete Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 The Steelers could have been called for personal fouls just as easy. Put the whistle away, or call them offsetting. Ludicrous.
