starrymessenger
He definately sold it - he obviously didn't dive because he got nailed. But he tumbled rather dramatically... more than if he was knocked out cold. He wasn't faking it but he wasn't out cold either. Bernard was out cold. Hope they are both ok. 26CornerBlitz
Risky business: The character conundrum Marvin Lewis caught a lot of heat for Vontaze Burfict's behavior on Wild Card Weekend. Fair? Albert Breer talks to opposing coaches and execs. Plus, one thing Chip Kelly must change -- and much more.

Hapless Bills Fan
haha, it must have looked worse on tv or something because I talked to some other people at the game and they thought the same thing. Some local media also felt he at the very least "oversold it" because they said the hit wasn't all that hard. I only saw it once so have no opinion but obviously he wasn't faking and I hope he's ok! Huge blow for Steelers. So, er, local (Bengals) media downplay a hit that the league and national media found dangerous and illegal, and that played a huge role in the Bengals losing the game. This is my surprised face @C_AdamskiTrib NFL confirms that Ryan Shazier was NOT fined for his hit on Gio Bernard last wk Also NOT fined were Will Gay, Bud Dupree for TD celebration He should have been. After I looked carefully at the film, it was indeed an illegal hit. I suppose the NFL can't admit that without really calling into question the validity of the game, since a COP resulted.
