bisonbrigade
No comparison. Jets lost a football game on the road to a division rival. Sucks but no shame in that. This loss was due to dirty play and ugly loss of composure. Was not a dirty play in my eyes, it was a football hit. It was just as "dirty" as Shazier's hit on Bernard which was a "good play". Big Turk
@KimJonesSports CIN Vontaze Burflict leaves locker & says "dumbass f---ing questions." Dumbass questions for a dumbass player... I mean really? Take that shot at Brown in THAT situation? Unbelievable...
BADOLBILZ
I can't imagine the pain, frustration and anger Bengals fans are feeling right now. It's one thing to lose but this one had it all. #1 a huge comeback with your backup QB #2 a score to take the lead inside of 2 min #3 a game winning INT (or so they thought) #4 a heartbreaking fumble. #5 then a total and complete meltdown where you just give the game away. 6 years in a row of great seasons only to lose 1st game. But now you know you had this one and literally gave it away. When fellow Bills fans say things like this. This doesn't even touch HR throw forward. TheFunPolice
Whether you think it should be a penalty or not is irrelevant It is going to be called, so play accordingly. Or enjoy losing
26CornerBlitz
Burfict deserved the flag no doubt at all, but I thought Brown put on a whale of a flop there. Bungles are ridiculous, at least you can't blame Dalton for this one. He has a concussion and may not play next week.
TheFunPolice
HR forward lateral sucked. But in the end it's a football play. The Bills didn't commit 30 yards in penalties and totally melt down with players shoving coaches and totally flipping out. That makes the loss 10x worse. starrymessenger
Bengals would have lost to NE* by 30 so I'm fine with it. The refs would throw a flag on every play to protect the golden boy Brady Maybe. Maybe not. Dalton was back for that game.
KD in CA
The linebacker coach did NOTneed to come out on the field to check on an injured wide reciever. Porter was only out there to cause problems and a competent NFL referee crew should have recognized that! . You gotta be kidding. So now only certain coaches are allowed on the field to escort an injured player off? And of course, Porter was the only one yapping, right? The Bengals were probably trying to say a rosary. Never mind the guy who grabbed Porter or the DL man who bumped him from behind ....total accidents. And then Pac-Man charges through a couple refs trying to throw a punch. Yup, all Porter's fault. The Bills didn't commit 30 yards in penalties and totally melt down with players shoving coaches and totally flipping out. That makes the loss 10x worse. It was an illegal forward lateral. Our team didn't do anything to the ref.......they just made a poor decision...........no way a team should even be given the benefit of the doubt for a forward pass in that situation. The Bengals player jumped into a ref trying to throw a punch. It's much easier when you can blame someone on your team for a loss than when it's the invisible hand of officiating. Anyone that thinks that Adam Jones didn't earn that penalty is crazy. Utter stupidity on his part.

It was headhunting IMO. @AroundTheNFL Steelers wideout Antonio Brown diagnosed with concussion http://at.nfl.com/MCU3tMh Ya think? He's lucky he still has a head to be concussed, I thought Burfict was gonna rip it off.

Ed_Formerly_of_Roch
And they did. At that point it's highly unlikely the refs will call any dead balls either way. They've put their ear muffs and blinders on and swallowed their whistles. Players could yap al lthey want at each other and nothing would have been called, If two players started shoving eachother likely would have called a flag on both rather than move the ball as a result of a dead ball penalty. The only thing you can't get away with it touching an official, which is exactly what the Bengles did. Did the Steelers likely bait him. I'm sure they did, but still can't touch an official even if by accident. BADOLBILZ
Plus the last Bengals playoff win was 10 years BEFORE HR lateral. And they won 11 games and go to the playoffs every year And THAT Bills team was a clearly better team than that Titans team.........they had battered Super Steve McNair on his home field to the point that he had like 65 yards passing all day.........and that Titans team then cruised to the SB where they narrowly lost. It was understood the weight of that wildcard matchup....probably the two best teams in the AFC at that time of the year..............in a year when the Indy and Jax had gotten byes due to very weak schedules. This Steeler team........and this Bengal team.........neither would be able to advance next week with the injuries they are dealing with at QB, let alone challenge for a SB.
