BmarvB Posted January 7, 2016 Author Posted January 7, 2016 When was the last time that Bobby April coached a decent ST unit? Answer: many years and many teams ago. People need to stop living in past. Ours! And our ST has been playing in the sorry past ever since he left.
prissythecat Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Ours! And our ST has been playing in the sorry past ever since he left. Yes. Before the rule changes that affected special teams. April hasn't done squat after that.
BmarvB Posted January 7, 2016 Author Posted January 7, 2016 Yes. Before the rule changes that affected special teams. April hasn't done squat after that. I'll still take him over Crossman. He'd definitely be an upgrade.
Matt in KC Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 When was the last time that Bobby April coached a decent ST unit? Answer: many years and many teams ago. People need to stop living in past. Just before Terrence McGee started missing significant time to injury. April really seemed to know how to draw up the returns with the old four-man wedge leading the way. On the flip side, it was awesomely entertaining to see Jason Peters fly down the field and single-handedly destroy the opposing wedge, making them look like so many bowling pins!
