C.Biscuit97 Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 I used to hate this idea but I'm 100% open to it. I think the hard knocks teams have a good record of getting to the playoffs. Plus if Rex is start, he'd act super humble and low key.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 texans are in the playoffs It's because of the stellar division they play in.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 @BuffRumblings #Bills among seven NFL teams that could be compelled to be on 'Hard Knocks' this summer http://www.buffalorumblings.com/bills-news-notes/2016/1/7/10728602/buffalo-bills-hard-knocks-2016-list-of-candidates
Heitz Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 As I've said a million times, I would LOVE this - such a good show. And if anyone wants to really see if Rex and Whaley are dysfunctional, this would give us the look behind the curtain...
RussellDopeland Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 This is the last thing this team needs. Rex needs to shut his mouth and spend this offseason fixing the mess he made out of this defense. The less exposure for Ryan the better. The notion of him hamming in front of the cameras during "Hard Knocks" just exacerbates the situation. No need to feed the windbag's ego.

The last time he was on the show his team wound up in the AFC Championship game, beating the P*ts on the road to get there... Maybe feeding the ego is the best way to keep the man focused.
1st Ammendment NoMas Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Mixed feelings on this one. I would love to see the show and get me more Bills TV, but I would not want it to interfere with the teams progress. Rex is too volatile for the cameras and I'm afraid the OBD circus would destroy the season.
PO16FFS Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 From what Im reading on here...Rex sucks as a head coach!
KD in CA Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 I've come around on this topic; I wouldn't mind it at all. The 'lack of distraction' hasn't helped much lately. That said, I'd bet heavily on the cameras being in LA next summer. Whoever ends up in LA is going to get a lot of promotion from the NFL.
NickelCity Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 I hope we're never on hard knocks, personally.
K D Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 if the NFL has their way it will be in LA. if the producers of the show have their way it will be REX!!! now let's go eat a GD snack!!

Plus, with Houston making the playoffs it's not like a mediocre team can't be on Hard Knocks and still make the playoffs. At least in the AFC South.

I think it will actually help focus us, since no one will want to look like a moron on TV. If the players aren't taking things seriously; all will see...If Rex is all my scheme idk about your talents, that should show too as well as fake smile between Rex & Doug
ddaryl Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 I just have less than 0 interest in watching the melodrama of hard Knocks pretty much like the majority of reality tv.. annoys the living hell out of me so i avoid it.
The Adam Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 As much as the NFL wants to push LA, I think they will wait until year 2. Moving a team plus the show could really mess up the transition and make it look like a failure right off the bat. I want to see it in Buffalo. That way I won't have to ready through 25 TBD pages a day to get TC notes and observations.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 I'll be shocked if it is not the Bills. I fully expect it to be one of the teams that will be in LA. It's too good of an opportunity for the NFL to create buzz in their shiny new market.
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 This is the last thing this team needs. The notion of him hamming in front of the cameras during "Hard Knocks" just exacerbates the situation. No need to feed the windbag's ego. Honestly, it may be the opposite. It may give him just the outlet he needs to "ham things up" and get it out of his system.
