YoloinOhio Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 This type of move is unorthodox and insupoport it. Advising about football does not just have to be business! thats kind of what I was getting at too. It doesn't have to be the role people were envisioning with Polian, because Coughlin wasn't a GM or FO exec. Doesn't mean he doesn't know how to effectively build a playoff team.
Beerball Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 Coughlin and Rex under the same roof... What could possibly go wrong? One ultra-discipline oriented, the other Rex. Neither knows clock management. In other words you're saying he's the exact type Rex needs.
YoloinOhio Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 In other words you're saying he's the exact type Rex needs.Would be an interesting message from the Pegulas if it happened. "we want to give you a chance to build something here. But we think you need a - how shall we put this - mentor."
Maddog69 Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 Coughlin wants to coach and has no experience as an NFL executive. Stop it! Yeah, but I've heard of him. LOL.
