HT02
That's unfortunate but not unexpected. I admire the way Coughlin conducts himself quiet dignity but I can't say I blame the Giant ownership either, he has really run out of chances.

26CornerBlitz
@RapSheet The #Giants will not retain Tom Coughlin, source said. (as @AdamSchefter reported). The biggest opening yet.
VanCity
Sucks. Two time SB winning coaches don't get released too often. I'm interested to see if he retires or is still motivated to coach elsewhere. The Dolphins, with wannabe-Eli Tannehill, should definitely inquire. MarkyMannn
For whatever reason I never liked his style. But you can't argue with his results. Probably got more out of his teams than the talent they had. Hard to think the NYG can find a coach better than him

dpberr
bill cowher's dream job It's simple when one George Seifert is spotted at a Buffalo airport. The Internet would collapse upon itself if Bill Cowher was spotted at an undisclosed NY or NJ airport. So many choices. So much Bill Cowher. Charles Romes
I like the way he refused to "retire" like they wanted him to but with class and professionalism.

BringBackFergy
Ralph Is Cheap (?). Nahhhh, the Giants' owners are too stupid to realize if you have a franchise QB you are guaranteed Championships....I mean we have all been taught that so it must be true. QuoteTheRaven83
I feel for Tom Coughlin. One of the greatest coaches of all time in my eyes and a first ballot hall of famer. Reese is one of the worst GMs and he failed Coughlin. How he still has a job right now is beyond me.
