YoloinOhio Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Yikes. thats on them. He worked there for 8 YEARS before they hired him!
26CornerBlitz Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 @49ers Jim Tomsula has been relieved of his duties as head coach. http://49rs.co/0srxZO
TheFunPolice Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 I wouldn't not say I'm shocked, but I wouldn't say it either.
Reed83HOF Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 Yikes. thats on them. He worked there for 8 YEARS before they hired him! I feel bad for him, might be a really good coach, but not HC material... With everyone who they lost this season; of course they were going to stink...
26CornerBlitz Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 I feel bad for him, might be a really good coach, but not HC material... With everyone who they lost this season; of course they were going to stink... I thought this as soon as I saw his opening presser upon getting the gig.
BillsFanM.D. Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 I thought this as soon as I saw his opening presser upon getting the gig. Yeah. He's one of the guys you'd like to see succeed....because you sort of realize he's got no shot. That presser was brutal. Season wasn't much better. Hopefully, he can land back as a position coach and life goes on.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter 56s56 seconds ago 49ers announced they have fired Jim Tomsula. idiots, the only franchise dumber than the browns. I don't like Tomsula but firing Harbaugh was just plain retarded, I don't care if you don't like him he wins, no one says you have to hang out together. Michigan thanks you, perennial BIG 10 contenders from here on out. Edited January 4, 2016 by Buffalo Barbarian
Reed83HOF Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 I thought this as soon as I saw his opening presser upon getting the gig. What is astounding is that he was a coach there for years. You didn't realize this at some point??? Talk about a ownership/GM failure....
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 There were posts here about how Dennis Thurman shouldn't be allowed to speak. Same thing hold here and in this case, he's a HC. Maybe he's a great coach, but hard to gain confidence listening to him.
billieve420 Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 At least his lasting memory won't be this. http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl-news/4657011-jim-tomsula-fart-video-san-francisco-49ers

The front office thrust the side show of Manziel on him and his defense regressed. You would have wanted him to succeed
YoloinOhio Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 @rapsheet Keep an eye on Sean Payton and the #49ers. If the #Chargers are keeping Mike McCoy, this is Payton's best chance to move near his daughter
TheFunPolice Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 He seems like a very good position coach. At least he made a ton of $$ for a years work

TheFunPolice Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 He was hired because the front office could control him, IMO

dhg Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter 56s56 seconds ago 49ers announced they have fired Jim Tomsula. He didn't mention Moron's name in that tweet. Shocking Edited January 4, 2016 by dhg
Mark Vader Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Yikes! What is going on in Santa Clara? They are becoming Cleveland West.
