26CornerBlitz Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 @ChrisBrownBills Rex - will start meeting with coaches Tuesday. Whether changes will be made will be determined from those. #Bills
BillsVet Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) murphy severing up softball......how does having the #1 rushing team help going forward In fairness he did make that point in the context of how important that is in the modern NFL. Can't believe I just defended the team. Edited January 4, 2016 by BillsVet
Boolay Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 No Whaley... Rex gelded the best D in the league. It was an unmitigated disaster.
plenzmd1 Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 if Seantrel is not around??? Guess the Crohn's is putting his career in jeapordy. Like Whaley's interplay with sullivan. Rex needs to stop with the "that dude threw for 450 yesterday" crap
HuSeYiN_NYC Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 I'm listening now. They're pretty much dodging any questions being asked about "changes" as expected. I highly doubt our D coordinator gets fired so I expect all the coacjes to be back next year (the ones Rex brought in) and every other coach will be analyzed.
YoloinOhio Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Interesting non- answer on Thurman (and Pettine)
plenzmd1 Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 oh boy, sure sounded like his brother is getting hired!
GunnerBill Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Interesting non- answer on Thurman (and Pettine) I thought so too. I see changes coming on the defensive staff..... didn't Rob coach linebackers for New England? If I was Bobby April Jnr I'd be a little nervous before my meeting. I also think the non answer on Thurman suggested that there is something that Rex wants to get straight before confirming that he stays. I have to think his woeful media performances have annoyed some people higher up the organisation.
Blokestradamus Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Buffalo media is flat out awful and Doug Whaley is a mafia boss masquerading as an NFL GM. Love that man.
YoloinOhio Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Buffalo media is flat out awful and Doug Whaley is a mafia boss masquerading as an NFL GM. Love that man.he asked Sully as he was leaving the presser if he liked Porzingis. Savage
GunnerBill Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 he asked Sully as he was leaving the presser if he liked Porzingis. Savage Who is Porzingis? Does he play for the Sabres? It was some non football American sports reference that went over my head I fear.
YoloinOhio Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Who is Porzingis? Does he play for the Sabres? It was some non football American sports reference that went over my head I fear. Knicks reference (he's a star rookie)
GG Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Who is Porzingis? Does he play for the Sabres? It was some non football American sports reference that went over my head I fear. He asked Sully about a sport he's knowledgeable about. Machiavellian?
GunnerBill Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Knicks reference (he's a star rookie) Ah ok that makes sense. Cheers Yolo.
eball Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 He asked Sully about a sport he's knowledgeable about. Machiavellian? Wait, there's a sport Sully is knowledgeable about?
Heitz Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Rex is live on GR55 at the moment as a follow-up to the presser...
Nervous Guy Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Wait, there's a sport Sully is knowledgeable about? probably girls basketball...not that there's anything wrong with that.
Formerly Allan in MD Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 I had hoped until a few days ago for a Whaley press conference where he announced that Rex was fired. No Whaley... Rex gelded the best D in the league. It was an unmitigated disaster. Your right about that. Yet despite that and many other negatives, Ryan is still around. Go figure.
C.Biscuit97 Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Buffalo media is flat out awful and Doug Whaley is a mafia boss masquerading as an NFL GM. Love that man. It's embarrassing that a city with 2 pro teams can't do better than the media we have. I get more insight from this board than any Buffalo media member.
