4merper4mer Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 ....and a lot of people do. IMO most of it is unfair, but.... with that one play today, going in to get an encroachment....succeeding.....it was nice....but.....his excitement after that play I found awesome. People may not think it is a big deal but he lost his job, has taken tons of criticism for a very young QB, is not sure of his future and yet he was all in for the team in a very genuine way.
Maury Ballstein Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Hell yea for EJ. Was sweet watching him celebrate

I second that. Question his talent all people want, but his excitement and personality and demeanor is top notch. He's been a great teammate when he could've been a tool and thrown a fit about his circumstances.
Big C Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 I don't think EJ has ever received criticism for his atitude or work ethic. He has just played very poorly in spite of it. Was nice for him to contribute to the team in a positive way today in any case.
K-9 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Thirded. We were happy with his enthusiasm. Great to see it. And nice that some fans can appreciate it. That kind of attitude is infectious, too. The anti-Mario effect. GO BILLS!!!
YoloinOhio Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 He is a really good guy. Glad he got to participate in the win.
Augie Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 By all accounts EJ is a very nice young man and I wish him well. Sincerely.
LB3 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 I hope he gets another chance somewhere. He's a likeable player.
jeffismagic Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 EJ had the size, arm, work ethic, and intelligence. It just never worked out here. Loved him still being dialed in.
Prickly Pete Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 I like a lot about EJM, and supported him up until the Jags Fiasco. That Jags game showed me that he still gets overwhelmed by the situation. The Jags game wasn't even that high pressure, could you imagine him in a game like today's, in Fitz's place? Crumble...
klos63 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 He will be are backup next year Probably, not sure there are any better alternatives.
Wagon Circler Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Great play. Go E.J.! Prederably out the door.
thebandit27 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 He's a really great kid. I don't know of a single person that doesn't wish things were different for him He works hard, great attitude, great teammate. I yelled my throat out for him after that play.
GunnerBill Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Yea - I hope he gets a new start and a chance somewhere. I think he will be cut here but he will get a shot as someone's backup next year.
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 I'm glad for ej. He is very likeable and easy to root for.
Rico Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 I agree with the general sentiment, that was pretty cool to see. Good luck EJ.
GunnerBill Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 The only way I see him staying here is if they can't find a guy who is happy to come in and be the backup.... he and TT seem to get along and that could play into it... but I expect them to try and upgrade the backup position.
