BringBackOrton Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Watkins has owned Revis all season. Revis is another Prima Donna who isnt used to being brought down to earth. What? Sammy- 3 receptions for 14 yards in the first matchup on TNF. Definitely got the better of him today.

John from Riverside Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 How are those 2 1st round picks looking now?
Big Blitz Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Revis is still elite. Sammy's year 3 jump started in the 2nd half of this season as the rapport/trust with Tyrod and the coaches developed. He should be seeing 10-15 targets a game in 2016.

BuffaloMatt Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) Guy on Jacksonville this year went big against Revis as well. I think it was 6 catches over a hundred yards and a TD. Edited January 4, 2016 by BuffaloMatt

YoloinOhio Posted January 5, 2016 Author Posted January 5, 2016 Rich Cimini @RichCimini 3m3 minutes ago Jets CB Darrelle Revis allowed allowed 5 catches on 8 targets for 80 yards when covering Sammy Watkins, per @PFF. #nyj
elroy16 Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 Sammy certainly got the best of Revis for the most part, but part of it was the defensive game plan. I believe Bowles said they were playing zone a bit which gave Sammy some extra room underneath on a few catches. I'm still surprised they didn't have Revis tight against Sammy and a safety over the top all game. Sammy still beat him a few times when Revis was up tight, but it didn't appear that they were doubling Sammy like he's been in games past. With all of the other weapons out and the season on the line, I was unimpressed by the Jets game plan against the pass. If the situation was reversed and the Bills were a win away from the playoffs and the other team's only weapon torched the Bills for that kind of day, I imagine Rex's house would be ashes by now.
