YoloinOhio Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Bowles announced in post game. Will need surgery.
dave mcbride Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 That really sucks for him. It'll knock his price down, but I'm not happy about that because I like him as player. He's a real pro.
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Bowles announced in post game. Will need surgery. That's brutal given his impending FA. I actually thought he might possibly be a Bill next year.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Ouch. That sucks! I'm sure he'll still cash in when UFA begins. Helluva player.
johnwalter Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Broken bones aren't a huge deal compared to soft tissue injuries, would love to seem him in a Bills uni.
starrymessenger Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 That is terrible luck. Sorry to see a great player go down like that just when he's about to get his well deserved payday.
CSBill Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Wow, talk about a bad day: no play-off, break your leg as you're about to become a free agent. I hope for him he heals quickly and is able to get back to where he has been.
John from Riverside Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Might there be an opportunity to get him because of the injury? I hate that the injury happened though
starrymessenger Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Wilkerson -NT -Dareus Thats pretty good but it has a 200MM price tag.
Augie Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Stinks, but better than a knee injury. Why do NFL players all seem to need surgery for broken bones? Plates and screws and all. Bones heal, right? Mine did. My kids did.
Boolay Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Sorry to hear...If Im GM I am not taking a chance at that price point.
Fixxxer Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Bone beats ligaments, right? I'm no doctor but isn't that the case here?
BUFFALOTONE Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 It was a nasty play, not sure if it was Ritchie or wood hurrying him after he got rolled on. Happened to me in high school. Knee went though.
boyst Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 I'm not investing anymore in to this defensive line until Rex Ryan shows the competence to use it correctly.
Augie Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 I'm not investing anymore in to this defensive line until Rex Ryan shows the competence to use it correctly. That's a fair point. How is Mo's coverage in the flats and shallow over the middle. Critical questions for the fat guys. (Ya know, in Rex's scheme.)
YoloinOhio Posted January 3, 2016 Author Posted January 3, 2016 Bone beats ligaments, right? I'm no doctor but isn't that the case here?yes, he should come back stronger eventually but sounds like a really bad break to need surgery.
BuffaninATL Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Broken bones aren't a huge deal compared to soft tissue injuries, would love to seem him in a Bills uni. that is not entirely true. It depends on the type of fracture, pattern, location....i.e., is the fracture displaced, which bone was fractured, is there associated soft tissue damage?? You can't make a statement like that w/out knowing all the clinical factors.
