Can you ever fix a QB with a terrible throwing motion? Perhaps you can, but then that would alter your accuracy. In the long run you're taking a big chance. I'd rather go with Prescott or Hackenburg.

honestly I think if we go heavy defense we can pick up vernon adams as a UDFA. kids like the next Russel Wilson, Would fit great in G-Ro scheme, has great accuracy and deep ball from the pocket, also is mobile when he needs to be. IF Tyrod gets hurt and manuel pulls a manuel he could step up and be what Tyrod was last season with maybe a few rookie hiccups. I also like Prescott much more then Hackenburg, Hack is accurate and makes good decisions but he is really slow and is gonna get demolished vs the teams with good pass rush.

2. Never blame the coach. Per two personnel sources on two separate teams who have shown interest in drafting Penn State’s Christian Hackenberg, the quarterback has said all the wrong things in interviews when asked to explain his declining sophomore and junior numbers (a combined 28 touchdowns and 21 interceptions). Hackenberg has shifted blame to coach James Franklin, who took over in 2014 when coach Bill O’Brien departed for the Texans. Said one evaluator: “Despite the fact that it’s probably true, you don’t want to hear a kid say that.”

some want to blame his OL and while it wasn't good, there were times that it gave him protection. And he still couldn't make the play. He's tough to watch.

When is Vernon Adams Jr. pro day? He's the only QB in this draft I'm interested in. I REALLY hope we get this cat.

Look at my quote from Roger the Dodger in my sig. Vernon's got it in spades and can back it up when on the field.

He can back up Tyrod this year. He'd be a great guy to have in the pipeline.

Oregon: Brandt: Official results

Quarterback Vernon Adams -- 5-foot-10 7/8, 198 pounds -- ran the 40-yard dash in 4.86 seconds on both attempts. He also had a 28-inch vertical jump. Adams throws the ball really well; he can really spin it. However, he's on the shorter side for a quarterback. So, he's probably a CFL-level player.

That's what everyone said about Flutie and Warren Moon and Russell Wilson.

He's only 1 inch shorter than Drew Brees. Can that really be a deal breaker? A smart OC would get him out of the pocket and design passing lanes for him.

All these guys are flyers this year. Why draft a guy like Hogan who might be a decent backup someday?. If going for a flyer, take the guy who may be magic. He was at Eastern Washington and Oregon.
