thebandit27 Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 I continue to warm on Brandon Allen of Arkansas--small hands and all. He looked really good in that MIss St. game. I think he's draftable--I might even like him as a 5th round guy.

John from Riverside Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 Bills' QB Coach getting a close look at Hackenberg. Is he saying "how far down can we wait and still draft him" or "this guy sucks

BuffaloFan68 Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 I'm not a fan of Prescott at all, thought he did poorly at the combine & for a later round pick would prefer Christian Hackenberg. Don't get me wrong, there are some I like more such as Lynch & Cook, but they'll likely go in the earlier rounds. Jmho

26CornerBlitz Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 @AlbertBreer Jared Goff will throw in a few hours at Cal Pro Day. Every evaluator I talk to says his tape is superior to Wentz's. Upside is the question.

Buffalo Barbarian Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 Gota disagree with mayock on Goff being more pro ready than wentz who played in a pro style offense and made audibles at the line.

Goff is, IMO, more pro-ready. His mechanics are more dialed in, and his snap-to-release time is much quicker than Wentz's--both will make an easier transition for him in the NFL.

thebandit27 Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 Maybe but learning the pro game will slow him down Not necessarily. Goff ran a no-huddle, up-tempo offense in college, and while it isn't exactly like an NFL offense, the pro game has been transitioning to look much more like the college game the last 3-4 years. As for reading the field and making adjustments, well... http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/football/bears/ct-qb-jared-goff-bears-draft-spt-1025-20151024-story.html http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/eye-on-college-football/25297136/how-cals-jared-goff-became-nations-top-nfl-quarterback-prospect

Good command of the receivers and that's important. @NFL_CFB .@MikeMayock: Cal QB Jared Goff "stepped up and put on a show" at pro day --> http://on.nfl.com/1R560Sm
