OnTheRocks Posted April 7, 2005 Author Posted April 7, 2005 i am not so suprised that Nikko was cut...and i am not suprised that Scott was in the final three... but... ...you can't tell me that Anthony "I can whistle through my neck" Federov got more votes than Vonzell.
LabattBlue Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 ...you can't tell me that Anthony "I can whistle through my neck" Federov got more votes than Vonzell. 298591 It's the "teen girl" vote and the sympathy vote. Similar to this, the more the judges bashed John Stevens last year, the further he advanced. I agree he should be gone, but at the same time, I can seem him hanging around for another couple of weeks.
BF_in_Indiana Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 That show is rigged, there was more evidence of that last night.
stevestojan Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Wow, Carrie Underwood looked good enough to eat tonight. And I mean that in every way possible.
rastabillz Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Am I the only one getting sick of Randy and his constantly mentioning "Pitchy"?
Live&DieBillsFootball Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Scott wondered why "She's Gone": Maybe if he hadn't beat the crap out of her. Anwar will Never Love This Way Again: Now he's a strictly a catcher. Federov: I loved those baby pictures with the band-aid over the trach hole. Man, does he suck. Carrie: Looked hot, but she also looked pretty stiff. Bo: Way to take a 15 minute song and cram it into 90 seconds. Constantine: Crammed a 6 minute song into 90 seconds, but he was good tonight. Vonzell: I hate that fuggin song, but at least she sang it well. Nadia: Her swan song. She's a goner.

stevestojan Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 That show is rigged, there was more evidence of that last night. 298642 The show isn't rigged. The show is done by votes called in, and there is the problem, and the success. Now think about it for a second. If someone does AMAZING, and you are a casual fan you would probably think "I don't need to vote, they did great, everyone else will". Ok, that's one thing. Another is that people often feel bad for some of the singers. Last year, there was some dufus from the Buffalo area who was AWFUL, but Simon ripped on him SO much, he went far. Then, on top of that, you get split votes. Bo and Constantine will NEVER make it to the final two. There is one group of voters that "love" that type. Eventaully it will mean the end. Normally, the best singer wins, but for the top ten, alot of things factor in, one of the biggest is that the biggest demographic of voters is 12-16 year old females (and thus the ones who will buy the crappy CDs).

Yoho Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Am I the only one getting sick of Randy and his constantly mentioning "Pitchy"? 303129 How can you people care so much about this? This is just Star Search with voting that you have to pay for. Help me here. Why do you care? Read a book. There are a 150 channels, there has to be something more interesting than this. I would rather do endless debates on whether Jabari Greer eats asparagus than discuss whether Heather from Toledo's version of "Stairway to Heaven" was worthy of coming back next week. How did we get to this point?
OnTheRocks Posted April 13, 2005 Author Posted April 13, 2005 this is not much of a reach...but i predict the bottom three will be: Nadia Anwar Scott
Yoho Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 this is not much of a reach...but i predict the bottom three will be: Nadia Anwar Scott 303251 My predicitons- Nadia - will do well if Bela will allow her to do the double flip on the vault. Puberty may be her enemy. Anwar - is amazing considering he was shot and killed over 20 years ago. Hope he sings Old Man River Scott - if he makes the 48 yard field goal and does not go wide right, I will call in and vote for him for the next ten years. Let's see what happens.

Luckily my school wasn't better funded, because I really hate reading.

Soprano's, and a few more ) I find TV UNWATCHABLE.. American Idol is simple fun and I like Simon's opinions, so it's one of the few shows I watch.. The rest of the time I am on the PC, Xbox, or watching DVD's....
Puhonix Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 ACtaully, I wanted to watch ESPN Celebrity Bowling last night, but I had no say with the girlfriend, so I did the usual, watched with her and taped NCIS. Oh, and the reason I like watching is that it reminds me of songs that I'd like to download.
Mark Vader Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 My predictions for tonight....... Bottom 3: Anthony Nadia Scott Eliminated: Nadia Personally I thought everyone sounded good last night, except for Nadia.
OnTheRocks Posted April 13, 2005 Author Posted April 13, 2005 My predictions for tonight....... Bottom 3: Anthony Nadia Scott Eliminated: Nadia Personally I thought everyone sounded good last night, except for Nadia. 303591 I really liked Scott when the auditions started...he seemed like a guy that had a tough upbringing....i don't hold his arrest against him....because i don't know the whole story....what i hold against him is his singing voice. last night....there were times during that song he sounded pretty good...but there were other times when he was just unbearable. If Anthony hasn't been in the bottom 3 yet, I can't imagine that last nights performance will put him there. I think he is lousy, but last night was his best.

Bottom 3: Anthony Nadia Scott Eliminated: Nadia Personally I thought everyone sounded good last night, except for Nadia. 303591 I never heard of that song she sang last night. Bad song choice. I think she goes, too....although I wish it was Scott (again).
