White Linen Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Exactly right. He is a whiner and a quitter. He quit his team, fans and coach. Professional? Yeah right. I thought he was a reach when we signed and overpaid him. A couple good years had me convinced otherwise. Now, well I never hope for a BB to get hurt, but I can't help myself. I truly hate the guy. He'll likely have a good year with whoever he signs with, but you can't change the fact he is an overpaid prima donna ( a vain or undisciplined person who finds it difficult to work under direction or as part of a team) who will revert in due course and be a weight around the neck of his next team. Good riddance. I agree. Everyone knows pass rushers in their prime are over priced - and are pretty easy to find on the cheap or you could just draft one. Hell teams hardly even pass anymore so it's really not even a premium position anymore. I mean 9 NFL players have 10 sacks or more - big deal Mario - consider me unimpressed.
Big Turk Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Oh... and he's no Bruce Smith... who is? I agree. Hell teams hardly even pass anymore so it's really not even a premium position anymore. Chandler#81 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 I wish Rex would bench him for the 4th quarter. He's pathetic.
BuffaloBillsForever Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 (edited) I just watched Mario Williams stand there and not even engage the offensive lineman on a run play. Edited January 3, 2016 by BuffaloBillsForever
dave mcbride Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Mario played better today (the sack was a good one), but he takes soooo many plays off.
3rdand12 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 who is? you lost me at "teams hardly even pass anymore" as the NFL continues to set records almost every year for pass attempts... sarcasm meter needing calibration perhaps?
Dorkington Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 I just watched Mario Williams stand there and not even engage the offensive lineman on a run play. If he's doing that and not getting chewed out, that kinda points to scheme. That being said, Mario doesn't suit that scheme for his asking price, so cutting him is the best choice.
3rdand12 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Mario played better today (the sack was a good one), but he takes soooo many plays off. doesn't matter any more. lets move on and it was a good hustle sack
Reed83HOF Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Sal Maiorana @salmaiorana 2m2 minutes ago Mario Williams just being a jerk right now. Sitting at locker, making everyone wait. Playing with phone, anything else. Ridiculous.

Reed83HOF Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Sal should know a jerk when he sees one. This is true... Tyler Dunne @TyDunne 37s37 seconds ago Mario Williams on comments: "It's anonymous. I don't know who that was." He's not sure if he'll be back next season.
3rdand12 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Sal should know a jerk when he sees one. what is the point of exacerbating an acidic situation Sal? why scratch the festering sore ? put a topical on it and let it go heal itself.
Best Player Available Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Oh... and he's no Bruce Smith... He can't carry Bruces 25 year old jock. Adios 94!!! I wish Rex would bench him for the 4th quarter. He's pathetic. I don't understand the coddling of a malcontent at all.

There was no real way to win that conversation.
dave mcbride Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 He did about as well as he could with that. There was no real way to win that conversation. Agreed - he did what he had to do in that exchange.
