26CornerBlitz Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 @TheBuffaloNews .@TBNbucky says the Pegulas may be in over their heads. #Bills #Sabres http://buckyandsully.buffalonews.com/2015/12/29/bucky-gleason-pegulas-may-be-in-over-their-heads/ Fair or Unfair? As you ponder the question, keep this in mind: @TrendingBuffalo Here’s proof Bucky Gleason is full of **** http://www.trendingbuffalo.com/life/heres-proof-bucky-gleason-is-full-of-****/#.VRWAfN--9l4.twitter
nucci Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Gleason and Sullivan are on my do not read list
papazoid Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 the only one in over his head is Bucky. the Pegula's are wildly successful business people.
nucci Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 the only one in over his head is Bucky. the Pegula's are wildly successful business people. I'm guessing he's referring to running sports franchises
Malazan Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 It amazes me that reporters wonder why print papers are having so much trouble in the digital age when they have to compete and aren't simply handed the only megaphone in town. The Buffalo News seems to be hard hit by a dearth of talent from holdovers in their sports department.
BuffaloBillsForever Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 (edited) I'm guessing he's referring to running sports franchises Exactly. Because you are excellent at fracking oil doesn't mean you can run a competent football organization and vice versa. I would say the article is fair. To me there is still a level of dysfunction at one bills drive where it doesn't seem everyone is on the same page. Edited December 30, 2015 by BuffaloBillsForever
Freddie's Dead Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 This was a really nasty article, even from Bucky. The Sabres may be 26th, but at least the team is exciting to watch, whereas the team the last two years was completely unwatchable. As far as the Bills, they hired the wrong coach, and that happens in the best-run franchises too. I think it's too early to be throwing Pegs under the bus just yet.
Dorkington Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 He kept the Bills in Buffalo at least...
Greybeard Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 The rich don't run franchises, they hire people to do it. The difficulty is finding the right people. What defines the right people? They win. More often than not, this is only defined by looking back in time.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 He's just jealous that he isnt worth $3.8B CBF
thebandit27 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 The Buffalo News is simply an awful sports publication. I can't believe that Vic came back here.
87168 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 (edited) haha ok Bucky. I read this on the BN and laughed. Sabres are on the upswing and the Bills, well....we'll see but I'm not worried. Terry made moves with the Sabres to find competent coaching. he'll do the same if Rex proves further that he is not the man for the job. Neither team were contenders when Terry took over. Well, the Sabres made it to the playoffs that year and got eliminated R1. Things do not happen over night. Edited December 30, 2015 by 87168
DC Tom Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Cliffs notes: the Pegulas are in over their heads because of the decisions other people made, so they need to hire other people to make decisions. In other news, Bucky's in over his head writing for the Buffalo News.
BuffaloBillsForever Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 (edited) He's just jealous that he isnt worth $3.8B CBF Trump discloses his financials in his book crippled america and from his financial statement his net worth is over 8 billion. BuffaloBillsForever Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 (edited) ??????????? MarkyMannn Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 (edited) The local media's job is to B word, and the fans eat it up. I'm to the point where I cannot even read the paper or listen to WGR. Sometimes............most times...........this board isn't far behind. What's great about the net is any one can post anything as the expert Edited December 30, 2015 by MarkyMannn
