BringBackFergy Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 How much is their mutual agent knocking off Schefter's commission for him to shill Marrone? He had Marrone as the top candidate for the Jets HC position, how did that fly? He was the top candidate...the Jets !@#$ed up.
FireChan Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Just because Rex is crappy doesn't mean Marrone is good. He isn't. He sucked then and he will suck if his agent Scheffer ever gets him another job. Did I say it did?
YoloinOhio Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 @jayglazer In my convo w Chip he said next stop he just wants to coach & insists he does NOT want to be the personnel guy too. This is significant

4merper4mer Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Did I say it did? Come on Mrs. Marrone, you've never hidden your love for Saint Sonny. Don't start now.

FireChan Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Come on Mrs. Marrone, you've never hidden your love for Saint Sonny. Don't start now. I just find it funny that the biggest knock against Marrone (everyone on the offense regressed) doesn't apply to Rex (everyone on the defense regressed). I'd be willing to meet you half way and say both are subpar. I have some opinions on what would've happened in year 3 if DM stayed, mainly that most of the stuff that happened this offseason would've still happened AND we would still have a good to great defense, which may have backed us into the postseason. But it is unlikely that DM would've been an SB winning HC. He had some questionable ideas on offense, but I wonder if that had anything to do with the horror show at QB.
Augie Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 No one works harder than Doug Marrone's agent. Great stuff!

Solomon Grundy Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Donhaoe AND Marrone in Philly? I was just wondering if they could co-exist?
White Linen Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Wade'd best role is as a DC, as he's proven over the course of his career. Not exactly. Go back and look at his career.
ganesh Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Adam Schefter says Doug Marrone is a strong candidate to replace Kelly. That could be a good fit. Doug will be forever unforgiven for the exit ramp that he chose to take to flee Buffalo. But when he was here, he knew to coach this team. He got the best out of the players and coaches. The only thing I disliked was his reluctance to share information about the team after the games.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Bet McCoy is smiling right now. And so is Demarco. and Maclin Rumors of him coming to OSU as OC. But all we have are good black players so that might deter him somewhat. He does like the spread option tho
Nihilarian Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Adam Schefter says Doug Marrone is a strong candidate to replace Kelly. Man, that should be fun. I wonder if he plans on bringing Nate Hackett with him to Philly?
GunnerBill Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Man, that should be fun. I wonder if he plans on bringing Nate Hackett with him to Philly? I don't know for a fact but I suspect Marrone will not take Hackett to his next stop. Look for Joe Lombardi to be Marrone's OC, Schwartz or Donnie Henderson to be his DC and of course Danny Crossman to be his special teams coach.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Please happen. More Doug Marrone ! Right no one deserves marrone more than philly
K D Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 I dislike Marrone, but he's not a bad coach. Except that the players hate him and he's a quitter. The Eagles can have him and they can punt from the opponents 35 yard line
ALF Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Replace one mean college coach with another would be cruel , I like it
K D Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Chip will be the HC in Tennessee by Monday. He will finally be reunited with his prized Mariota and all will be right with the universe I don't know for a fact but I suspect Marrone will not take Hackett to his next stop. Look for Joe Lombardi to be Marrone's OC, Schwartz or Donnie Henderson to be his DC and of course Danny Crossman to be his special teams coach. Yes! Please take Crossman
