Chef Jim Posted December 29, 2015 Author Posted December 29, 2015 I only saw Motorhead once when the replaced Body Count to open for Guns and Roses and Metallica at the LA Collesium. Great performance.
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 This sucks. Everytime he came to town, there was always another classic rocker in town around the same time. I always put Motorhead off, thinking "They're gonna be around forever. I'll see them next year. No idea when I'll get another chance to see" whoever else I saw.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 I only saw Motorhead once when the replaced Body Count to open for Guns and Roses and Metallica at the LA Collesium. Great performance. Shame, body count put on a good show, too.
Azalin Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 I saw Motorhead open for Blue Oyster Cult in San Antonio in April of '94. Along with everything else, they did an impressive cover of Cat Scratch Fever.
Chef Jim Posted December 30, 2015 Author Posted December 30, 2015 Shame, body count put on a good show, too. I actually wanted to see them over Motorhead.
Shamrock Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 May he now rest at Hammersmith. I got into Motörhead from seeing them in the Young Ones. "I didn't have a really important life. At least it was funny!"
Buffalo Barbarian Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Lemmy dead at 70 was a legend in hard rock but could never stand the sound of his voice.
