Would you re-sign Harvin to $3m incentive laden contract?

To add to the New England comment, maybe he could put up video game numbers in New Orleans? Would be the number one for a good qb in a passing scheme producing 5k yards a year

It would be an uphill climb for Percy to challenge Gronk and Edelman for enough touches to produce at a #2 WR level.

New Orleans is probably the best possibility to get big production. If healthy Brandin Cooks is going to be a 100+rec, 1300+ yd, 10 TD guy though so Percy isn't going to be a #1 there.

NOLA would actually be a good landing spot for Bob Woods. I just don't like him in Roman's offense with Tyrod at QB. He could be an 80+ grab 1000 yard guy with Brees.

Whaley is like the clingy chick trying to hold on to her ex bf. He broke up with you halfway through the season without warning and now he's flirting with any girl that will talk to him knowing that you are desperate and will take him back in a second if he doesn't find anything better. Pathetic. He's just not that into you. Time to move on

@PFWeekly

Who wants Percy Harvin on their team? http://shawurl.com/2i16

The way we see it

Who could forget Harvin's breakout 2011 campaign with the VIkings, when he was as dangerous as any non-QB in the NFL as a runner, receiver and return specialist? The Seahawks thought enough of him to send a first-rounder to the Vikings to add Harvin and promptly give him a massive new contract.

He'd appear in just eight games (including postseason) and pocket more than $25 million from Seattle — not bad work if one can get it — but still managed to again remind everyone of his unique game-breaking speed with a kickoff return touchdown to open the second half of Super Bowl XLVII and insert the final nail in Denver's coffin.

As PFT reports, Harvin understands this is his last opportunity to make good on his career. We just can't understand how teams could believe it.

IMHO, we do need a big possession type WR. In last offseason, we had speed in Gooodwin. Watkins may not be a burner but appears to have game speed. Marshall would have been the missing piece. Your point about dropsies is well taken but overall the watkins-marshall-woods combo would have been the right mix of skills. Be that as it may, Harvin with his limited availability still has no place on this team even at an incentive laden contract. Given that we don't have a lot of depth, we cannot afford Harvin

i still think with the way their offense is designed they want a speed WR who can draw the safeties away from Sammy so they can throw the ball to him. A slow, possession type guy doesn't fit what their offense wants to do as much as a downfield threat. I think they use Clay in that role too as he's 6'3 and can line up as a WR. I look for them to draft a guy like Rashawn Scott if they can't sign Harvin. . Edited by YoloinOhio

They already have 6 slow possession receivers who may or may not be able to catch.

Of course they need another rec to threaten the top of the Defense.

There are a couple guys i have read up on who could do that via the draft.

I agree Yolo, G RO would like him one of those players.

Marshall is a big target and a big play threat. Been making big plays his entire career. He's not a possession WR. If he were used less over the middle and in close he could be a guy who averages 15+ypc.

forget a #2 WR

we should be using a triple TE formation.

biggest mismatch there is. if the defense is in nickel or dime, you run. if they have LB's out there you throw.

Our TEs are the problem with that formation. Clay, Dray, and Gragg! Yay!

dray is a blocking TE (like Mulligan, Lee Smith).. If they were to line up 3 like that they'd probably use Clay, Gragg and O'Leary. Edited by YoloinOhio

Absolutely not. He's a quitter with no character. It annoys the hell out of me that Bills fans want to sign players who have more downside than up in the hope that they may have a great season with little financial liability but huge team liability. Shame!!!
