Mile High Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 just more that i didn't see up on tbd. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/8201404 http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/8200940 242969[/snapback] From Vic's article: But the Bills also would have traveled a dangerous road with Bledsoe as their starter. Nothing he showed at the end of last season made a compelling enough case that, in the short run, he would have been a better choice to start than Losman, who obviously offers a far better long-term solution. Can't agree with this more. I like the way he wrote this article, kinda unbiased. Carruci worked in Buffalo for awhile but he did point out a few major issues with Bledsoe and Losman that only a true Bill's fan would note. And he's right, no one knows what to expect. A good point questioning the fact that this kid has yet to show anyone the mental toughness to make it the NFL. The coaches as well as JP have to put in OVERTIME this offseason to ensure he is up to speed with the game and the terminology. Kudos to Ralph, TD and the coaches for making this decision.
Navy Chief Navy Pride Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Great read---I totally agree---and finally someone agrees with me that there will be little drop off
Bill from NYC Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Good articles, thanks. What I found to be particularly telling was the quote from MM where he stated, "it happens every year." This started me thinking that some of us on this board are more stressed out than the coaches about this ordeal! For this reason, I am through worrying about the switch. To those who supported it, congrats! To those (myself included) who did not, it is a done deal. Support the kid, he is a Buffalo Bill! With a good backup, things should be OK. GO JP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
