26CornerBlitz Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 They still finished with a better record than us. We swept their sorry asses!
YoloinOhio Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 They still finished with a better record than us.what does that get them? No playoffs and a lower draft pick. And a bunch of old starters and FAs.
ganesh Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 There is a very fine line dividing the NFL teams in terms of talent. A few plays here and there and the smartness of the teams separates the pretenders and contenders. The Jets are contenders because they have played SMART football with the same talent level as possibly the Bills. Remember the Jets are ranked #1 against the Run, forcing opposing teams to throw against a HOF CB. I guess the Bills played more disciplined today than the Jets. Watkins was all over Revis
Dorkington Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 We swept their sorry asses! They were in the hunt for the playoffs in week 17. We were out of the playoffs at like week 2.
YoloinOhio Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Oh and Revis will have nightmares about Sammy all offseason
Deranged Rhino Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 They still finished with a better record than us. 0-2 is the only record that matters when both teams are on the outside of the playoffs looking in.
Dorkington Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 what does that get them? No playoffs and a lower draft pick. And a bunch of old starters and FAs. Just means they're still better than us, because the record is all that matters. Hopefully the Bills are in the playoff hunt in week 17 next year.
gumby Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 The 2 EJ games are the difference. Could've very well been 10-6 this year.
Deranged Rhino Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Just means they're still better than us, because the record is all that matters. Incorrect. Two head to head games is a far better indicator.
Dorkington Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Incorrect. Two head to head games is a far better indicator. This forum needs to make up its mind. I heard it was just final records that mattered. They got better without Rex. We got worse with Rex. That's really the only story here.
GG Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Which team had more penalties and lost composure? Which one had more special teams mistakes?
34-78-83 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Incorrect. Two head to head games is a far better indicator. Absolutely especially with both teams getting a chance at home.

Dorkington Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Letting this forum decide anything universally is your first mistake. But that's where all the experts are!
atlbillsfan1975 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 (edited) Anyone who thinks the Jets are in better shape than the Bills are just flat wrong. Bills beat them twice and when it counted the most for the Jets. So all this Bowles is a better coach, wrong. He couldn't get his team past a Bills team with key injuries all over the place. Fitz is a better QB, wrong, 3 ints in the 4th qt. That was who Fitz is. Gailey is a better OC, wrong. Roman got the most out of an injury riddled O. Gailey had pretty much his entire opening day team available to him. Edited January 3, 2016 by atlbillsfan1975

Deranged Rhino Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 But that's where all the experts are! There are a lot of very good football minds on this board but they seldom universally agree on anything. Doesn't mean they aren't still knowledgeable fans even when they disagree. Football is a game with an oblonged shaped ball that takes crazy bounces assuring no expert ever gets it totally right.
