bbb
Do any of you guys know the answer to this? I was looking to buy an old movie for my nephew, just because it's a crime that he's never seen Airplane! So, the DVD is something like 4.95, but the blu ray is about $25. However, there is something call multi format - and that's what I'd like to pay 7.50. Except I can't figure out what it is (it says blu ray), but why would it be so much cheaper than a regular blu ray? I can't seem to find an answer on amazon, even though a bunch of other people have the same type of question.

Airplane is a Paramount movie, and the 1st version on Blu was issued by Paramount Video, that first issue goes for $30.. Paramount sold the rights of some of their catalog to Warner Brothers Video, the second issue by WB goes for $7.50. No difference in content between the 2. WB: http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Airplane-Blu-ray/61732/ Paramount: http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Airplane-Blu-ray/47862/ Not sure about the multi-format one, as far as I can tell, there isn't a BD/DVD combo. Thanks. That's really interesting...........The confusing part is that the WB link leads to that multi format one that I was on.
